Ik ben absoluut geen fan van Verlinden, maar in dit geval heeft het alvast meer de schijn dat sommigen hun vieze potjes liever gedekt houden, dan wat men hier de betrokken personen wil aanwrijven.

My dad has gotten a dog whilst he's unable to even take care of himself. He did it because he's lonely.

His last dog died because he couldn't afford the vet and let the poor thing suffer for days until it passed.

He's also handicapped and can't walk the dog. It happened often that I went over and there was feces and urine in his place because the dog couldn't go outside and he couldn't clean it up.

Whilst I am very sympathetic to the lonely thing, because I moved to the UK during covid and got a cat to combat the loneliness, I could afford the animal and knew I could take care of it.

With the history of his last dog I don't trust him with another dog, especially not a Stafford terrier. Trying to talk to him is a moot point because he doesn't want to hear it.

What are my options to report and where to report it.

I know there's most likely not much to be done until it's too late but I still want to look into every option I have.

Hey! I don't know what happened but since few months ago, I'm not able to make money transfers higher than 500 euro because it requires Itsme validation which doesn't work.

More in detail, let's suppose I want to make a transfer of 600 euro,

1) I go to KBC app in my Iphone 14.

2) Then the app asks me to sign the transfer to Itsme app (because it's higher than 500 euro)

3) So I click the button "Sign using Itsme", which redirects me to the Itsme app in my Iphone.

4) In the Itsme app I click the "Confirm" button.

5) Then I put my Itsme PIN code and then a green ok appears but nothing happens.

Before the issue it used to automatically go back to the KBC app and confirm the transaction, but now it gets stuck in the Itsme app with "No pending actions" status.

I have worked in 2 workplaces now and both of them are just filled with +40 year olds. Do people between 21-35 just not exist?

Edit; for context I work as junior accountant at a semi large wine retailer, imports and sells wine.

A few days ago, two police officers stopped me and immediately took my driving licence because they claimed they saw me using my phone while driving. I never touched my phone. I was holding a drinks can in my left hand and steering with my right.

The officers were parked perpendicular to the road, in a regular sedan, while I was driving a Peugeot Expert in heavy rain. My wife was in the passenger seat. They insisted they were 100% certain, and there was no real opportunity to discuss it. I wrote on the PV that I disagreed and believed they had mistaken the can for a phone.

I've since checked my OnePlus's Android diagnostic logs, which show that the screen remained off and there was no recorded unlock or interactive use during the relevant five-minute period.

I'm trying to obtain the PV and will consider legal advice, but I'm wondering how realistic it is to successfully contest this in Belgium, given the evidential weight of a police officer's statement.

Has anyone here challenged a traffic PV under similar circumstances? Did technical evidence and witness testimony make a difference?

I'm not looking to avoid responsibility for something I did. I've accepted the consequences of a previous phone-use offence because I was guilty. This time, I know the allegation is wrong, and I want to know whether I have a fair chance of proving that.

I'm a Brit. I'll be in Belgium on business for the next 3ish weeks.

I'm arriving tomorrow. Need to see a GP for a minor condition/illness and I'm not going to be able to see my own GP before I leave.

What is the process for seeing a GP in Belgium as a foreigner? Can you get an appointment fairly quickly? Do you just call up a surgery? And how much should I expect to pay?

I hope it's a lot simpler than here in the UK, where you have to register with a practice and then wait about a month before an appointment becomes available.

I'll be staying in Mons if that helps.
