Discussion Are we really debating this?
They sell merchandise and costumes of fictional murderers on Halloween yet in my 21 years of existing on this Earth I’ve never heard anyone complain.

Discussion Anyone else notice that adult leads in animated films are clearly way more popular than kid protagonists?
Not saying all kid protagonists are bad (Please go see Wildwood. Coraline and Kubo are awesome too).
I'm wondering why we've rarely been getting original animated films with adult leads this decade though. I think it was easier for the whole family to relate to, and kids don't care if the main character isn't their own age. As a kid, I actually liked this about animated movies.

News Travis Knight says that LAIKA will NEVER use generative AI in their films: “AI is theft. It’s the ingestion of years and years and years of human creativity and ingenuity, regurgitated back. It has no humanity. It has no spirit.”

Discussion Does anyone know Cheburashka?
Eu adoro! Tão melancólico e fofo.

Discussion Genuine question, which animated show/movie fandom would you say is the most Media illiterate?
And I mainly mean in the sense that they don't engage with the show or movie that they claim to love.
(If you ask me..Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss haters and fans to a extent just don't watch the shows]

Meme Why do parents have an issue with mature content in animation but have no problems when it's shown in anything live action like superhero movies?
Recently parents are getting angry that Wildwood had some violent content and mature themes that they think their kids wouldn't handle and that wasn't the first time something similar happened. I remember parents being offended over how dark and gritty Rango was despite being rated PG. I remember parents online have gotten concerned about taking their kids to go see The Boy and The Heron. I remember the same happened with The Lord of the Rings The War of the Rohirrim with one parent on a Reddit I remember seeing questioning how violent it is while also mentioning that their child is a huge Tolkien fan and that they watched the Peter Jackson movies. However when live action PG-13 rated films like the MCU show any mature themes parents don't have an issue taking their kids to go see it. I remember how common I see kids in screenings in live action superhero movies or other blockbusters and I remember seeing alot of kids in screenings of Predator Badlands and The End of Oak Street

Discussion Didn't know Elmore High School had the three colors resembling Anais, Gumball, and Darwin. 🩷🩵🧡
I just noticed that Elmore High's main color scheme features those three distinct colors representing Anais, Gumball, and Darwin, which is such a cool little detail. 🤔

Discussion Cartoons really gave me two ways to see the name Mordacai
I see this name as either a really cool gothic name for dark and broody characters (Mordecai from Lackadaisy.) or it's the name for the Haha funny bluejay man. (Mordacai from Regular Show.) There's no in-between for me.
