Adopted this sweet girl yesterday, Eevee
She needed to be the only dog in the house, I think she is happy being the queen bee already.

Perrin Update - 7 months old
So I thought I'd give an update on Perrin and where we are after 7 months. Overall, he's been such a great addition to the household. My wife and I have really enjoyed the routine of having a dog at the house and he's got a lovely temperament and is lovely and social. That being said, he isn't without his flaws, like all puppies at this age I guess.
He's finally got all his adult teeth and his baby teeth have all fallen out. However he is still gnawing at hands a lot and snapping at them when we don't give in to him. I'm sure this will fade in time, but maybe I was just hoping once his teeth would come through he would stop. Wishful thinking I guess 😅
Another thing he's started doing is having accidents inside again. I half expected this as he enters the adolescence stage, but yeah, something to keep an eye on.
Not sure if anyone else's corgi does this, but when we go out on a walk in the local forest, Perrin will see a near vertical bank and climb up it and I'm worried one day he'll fall and hurt himself. Now, obviously I could keep him on a lead to avoid this but I was just wondering if anyone else's corgi thinks they're Spiderman?!
He's also started humping some of his toys. I'm not sure really how to combat this behaviour or how I should handle it, so would love to hear some of your thoughts on this.
Lastly, the one thing that really goes through me is his barking. Granted, I knew going in there would be times he'll bark non-stop, but his bark is so loud! I'm not really looking for any advice on this one, just me venting about his loud bark.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my post. Here's some photos of his from the last month or so 😁

This is Tootsie
I've had her about 4 months. My first corgi. She's 7, a former puppy mill momma, totally adorable and sassy and silly. I love her. My semi low rider in comparison Ernie (basador) also seems to mostly think she's great but is sometimes confused. Any advice I would welcome.

This is the cat's bed. Not his. But he circled to make sure he perfectly fit before laying down.

Fergus doing his best Venus de Milo at the beach this weekend…
As ball is life, Fergus loves to swim even when the water starts to get a little chilly. His disgruntled expressions when shaking off the water always crack me up.

12 years ago I Caught the moment when my dog realized he wasn't lying next to a rock
I love how his little face squishes up by how fast he noped away from the Turtle lol
I will never forget the love Reddit showed us that day. IT was so wild we received calls from local news stations to show the video. Whenever my dad went to a dollar general he would ask if they heard of it and pull it up on his phone showing everyone. It was such a fun time. I'm glad he left his little pawprint on the internet <3

[SF] 50+ dog parents joined our brushing day — a Halloween thank-you for local corgis 🐶🎃
Our free SF dog toothbrushing day on Oct 25 was a wonderful success: 50+ dog parents came by, and we loved seeing the pups practice brushing with the vets. Thanks for the warm response to our earlier post here!
I'm with Canos, and we wanted to share a little thank-you with Bay Area corgi families, too. We'll have a booth at Wags & Wheels this Saturday, Oct 31, 11am–3pm at Little Embarcadero in Fisherman's Wharf (2860 Taylor St). The Halloween event is free to attend, with a dog costume contest, classic cars, and a pet marketplace.
At our booth, we'll have 50 bone-shaped dog poop bag holders for registered dogs, while supplies last (one per email). If you choose a Canos Origin blood test there, you can also use a $200 blood test credit toward the vet's blood-draw fee. Testing is optional and not required for the gift.
