Hey everyone! I’m making a game called Stacker: Tidy Up the Gamestore, where you work in a retro game shop and try to get the place back in order.

There are boxes scattered everywhere, and your job is to figure out which genre each game belongs to by looking at its cover, then put it on the right shelf. Once you finish a shelf, you get a new ability to play around with, from double jumping to pulling boxes toward you with a magnet.

The game is still a work in progress, but I wanted to share a few screenshots and see what people think. I’m aiming for a cozy, lived-in game store atmosphere, so I’d be happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions.

I am putting together an ofrenda and I have spent the evening happy braiding ribbons and tying them to felt butterflies that will hang over the altar where i will honor my dead. I am pregnant and alive and happy. Things have been so hard and scary but I feel like I have a moment of peace.

I hope you have one too.

No noise, no rush, nowhere else to be. Just sitting here, watching the water, letting the world slow down for a while.

Sometimes, this is enough.
