Already full franchises: Pokemon

Each day, 2 alternate universe characters will joined the roster

Rules!

Rule #1 - only 1 comment & singular character suggestion per user

Rule #2 - no downvoting!

Rule #3 - if a character is suggested multiple times in the same upload, the upvotes won't be combined!

Rule #4 - if your previous suggestion has made it, you are allowed to suggest another player

Rule #5 - the character must be a counterpart from another universe/timeline/reality, and not be their base version

Rule #5.5 - I'm specifically looking for variants from what if style universes, ones where their origin story takes that little shift, that results in a whole new variants

Rule #6 - reboots also count, as long as it isn't a sequel to the original, and the backstory of the character is different enough

Rule #7 - only 1 version of a character is allowed in the roster
(example, if Ben 23 gets in the roster, Ben 10 from the 2016 reboot isn't allowed)

Rule #8 - only 3 characters per franchise is allowed in the entire roster

Rule #9 - if there's a tie, a wheel will be spun

Rule #10 - fan made AU characters aren't allowed (sorry Undertale AUs or TADC AUs)

Rule #11 - make sure you add BOTH the name and franchise (not everyone is familiar with every franchise) & if you add an image, you automatically get an upvote from me
(this also counts if the character and franchise have the same name)

Rule #12 - characters from the following franchises are NOT allowed anymore (as they've reached the 3 per franchise limit, as stated by Rule #8)
-Marvel
-Pokémon
-DC
-Transformers

Rule #13 - variants of the following characters are NOT allowed anymore (as stated by Rule #7)

-Ben Tennyson
-Mega Man
-Edd

side note: I get that movie adaptations are technically alternate versions, but often the adaptation becomes so big, it becomes it's own seperate base version (like the MCU or Big Hero 6)

Rules:

- The most upvoted characters joins the crew.

- 1 suggestions per person.

- Any media allowed, except real persons.

- Only 1 character per franchise.

An SCP Foundation Members roster inspired by the Multi-Media Lantern Corps.

RULES:

The two most upvoted characters wins.

No downvoting, duh.

Give a short explanation why you think they would join the foundation. (They could be Guards, MTF’s, Scientists, Site Directors etc)

Two characters per franchise.

STAFF:

Stanford Pines (Gravity Falls) Researcher

Jack Harkness (Doctor Who) Guard

Reagan Ridley (Inside Job) Site Director

Bruce Banner (Marvel) Researcher

The Janitor (Willy’s Wonderland) Janitor

Professor Membrane (Invader Zim) Researcher

Tanya von Degurechaff (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) MTF

Deadpool (Marvel) MTF

Used Franchises: Marvel

So, for this roster, the regional professor has decided to expand the choices for first time trainers. They're not just giving trainers one per type, they're giving them one per number of stages it can evolve. There are some limitations though:

1. The stage number is how many times it evolves. So, 1 stage means it doesn't evolve, 2 stage means it evolves once, 3 stage means it evolves twice.
2. The Pokemon MUST maintain the type they're nominated for at all times. This includes Evolution (for example, Larvitar can be nominated for Rock, but not Ground), Mega Evolution (for example, Aron can be nominated for Steel, but not for Rock), and temporary battle transformations (for example, Castform is completely disqualified. Sorry Castform).
3. Pokemon can't win more than one type. So, if you decide to give Slowpoke the win for Water, it can't also win Psychic.
4. The starter has to be in its base form (so Pikachu is out, but Pichu is fine).
5. When we do the 3 stage Grass/Fire/Water ones, feel free to pick something outside the actual starters (or pick a starter. Do what you want).
6. Remember, this isn't about what THE BEST Pokemon are for each category, it's about what would make a GOOD STARTER. These are Pokemon being handed out to new, fledgling trainers. So, maybe think twice before giving them something super strong/dangerous/aggressive etc.

Anyway, let's get into it.

Thanks for playing!

If you were to play this, who is your main? And which company is next (see 2nd image, choices are Paramount, SNK, and Metro Goldwyn Mayer) for me?

Welcome to Aftercare, a new dating sim roster revolving around medical personnel!

RULES:

1. No downvoting, please and thanks!

2. Suggestions must be comprised of medical personnel. This can include nurses and doctors, as well as other types of doctors. For example, dentists and psychiatrists, as they still deal with forms of medical health

3. All suggestions must be 18+

4. Characters who were formerly doctors but are more well known for other things are allowed. My one exception is if it’s not a core part of their character and is instead treated like a joke or one-off thing, I’m not counting it

5. No IRL doctors/nurses, this is purely fictional characters only

6. Limit of 2 reps per franchise. Once that limit is hit, that franchise is no longer eligible for new reps, so choose wisely!

7. On themed days, please follow the theme.

…more rules to be added if need be…

Franchise Limits:

- There will be 13 eras, with each era contributing 6 fighters selected by Reddit upvotes.

- After all 13 eras have been decided, I'll create a single Google poll featuring all the runner-up characters. They'll fight it out for one final day, with the top 2 joining the roster to bring us to 80 characters overall.

- Characters can come from Warner Bros-owned properties or have a heavy connection to the company through adaptations and whatever.

- A character's era is determined by their original debut, not when Warner Bros. acquired the property or when a particular adaptation was released.

- You must nominate characters who fit the specified era.

- comment however many you want.

- The characters shown on each graphic are suggestions only. You're free to nominate anyone who fits the guidelines.

- There will be no franchise gap initially, but I may introduce one later depending on how the roster develops.

- Ties will be determined via Random.org

Rules:

1. No downvoting (if caught, I'll give the person +2 on their submission).
2. Each day; The two most upvoted character will be added to the roster.
3. Only r/createaroster gets to pick characters for their side, while r/moviestomachgrowl gets to pick characters for their own (if one posts the opposite on the other lane, that submission will get ignored, no matter how many upvotes that has).
4. Characters must be relevant to both subs
5. If an tie occurs I will spin the wheel or pick myself
6. No suggesting ai generative stuff
7. Do not try to manipulate people into upvoting your comment (it’s wrong and cheating)
8. That’s all I have to say

Hello! I like cartoons. Bet you do too! So, lets make a Saturday Morning Slugfest! We are taking some of best characters from Saturday Morning Shows and have them fight it out. Here are the rules.

• Characters must have been on a Saturday Morning Kids Block as seen in the last image. (Aka Network Television Only)
• 4 characters max per franchise
• Top 2 Make the Cut
• OP decision in case of a tie
• Not limited to cartoons, if it was a show geared towards kids, live action and part of the Saturday Morning Block, youre good!
• how to nominate: provide the name of your character and what network/block they were on.
• no downvoting
• extra point if you list your favorite cereal growing up as a kid
• arenas coming soon

Welcome to Cartoon Network NBA, a roster (albeit more of a “What If…?” concept) parodying the oddly real Nicktoons MLB!

RULES:

1. No downvoting, please and thanks

2. Users may suggest two suggestions per post. One being an iconic character from Cartoon Network’s library, the other being a real basketball player (not fictitious)

3. In terms of what I’ll count for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim is fair game, albeit the roster shouldn’t be swamped with AS reps. Franchises that have consistently aired programs on the network (such as Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, DC Comics, etc) are also fair game

4. Limit of 4 reps per franchise for CN’s side. Once that limit is hit

5. Deceased and Retired former NBA players are fair game.

6. Strictly NBA players only. NCAA (College Basketball) is not allowed, simply due to this being a parody of Nicktoons MLB, which also strictly adheres to only MLB players.

…more rules to be added if need be…

Franchise Limits:

In this universe the marvel characters you knew never existed so heroes villains and others from the multiverse have come to make a new universe

Rules:

Characters must match the one they're replacing

No characters that are already mentioned in the Ultimate Showdown
