chances of acceptance?

hi! so i’ve been trying to gauge my chances of getting into different universities on my list. i’m taking dual enrollment courses (completely on a college campus), and am on track to graduate with my associates degree next semester. i have a 4.6 w gpa, and (3.9 uw), a 30 ACT, and semi-average ECs. i founded a neurodiversity club during junior year, which had an associated mentorship program where members would mentor incoming freshmen from our neighboring middle school. i have a part-time job (10-15 hours a week), 120+ volunteer hours (from a summer camp), and also am a school ambassador. i’ve also been playing piano for 8+ years, of which ive received 15-ish “superior” ranking awards on the state level across that period, and 2 “excellent” ranking awards on the national level.

i’m aiming for a neuroscience/related science degree.

im currently taking chem i, intro stats as far as stem courses. i plan on taking chem ii, physics, and qualitative analysis next semester.

do i have a chance? let me know.

chem 106 as incoming spring admit

Hi everyone! I will be coming to case western as a spring admit and I was thinking of using my AP credit to skip chem 105 and go to chem 106. I was wondering if anyone has done this, and how hard it was to assimilate to the class after skipping the first chem (Is it much harder to get a good grade? Was it a steeper learning curve? How much more time did you have to put into the class? etc.). The last time I took chemistry was AP chem in junior year and I received a 5 on the exam, but I do not know if this is good enough of a base for chem 106.

My concern is being behind other premed students and I would like to avoid having to take a organic chemistry class the summer after my sophomore year. That is why I am considering skipping the first chem level. Is there anyway I can prepare as well? Right now I am just reviewing what I did in AP.

Thank you for your input!
