Where can I find in-depth information about an entire ecosystem? Literally any ecosystem

I'm looking for resources that describe any ecosystem in depth. From top to bottom.

I was recently reading about the relationship between kakapo and specific fruit trees, and also about the wild amount of vastly different ecosystems in Madagascar, and I realized I'd really love to read about specific ecosystems. Any ecosystem. This is a super broad question, but if you've ever come across any resource that fits this, and you'd like to share, I'd love to read.

Thank you!

Mississauga Residents — Looking for Your Opinions for My University Project! 🌿

Hi everyone!

I'm currently taking Environmental Studies: Sustainability (ENVS 3991) at Thompson Rivers University.

For my final project, I'm researching urban development and wetland conservation in Churchill Meadows, Mississauga, particularly around the Churchill Meadows Community Centre and Mattamy Sports Park.

I'm hoping to hear from local residents about their experiences and opinions.

I have three quick questions:

  1. Do you think enough is being done to protect natural green spaces, wetlands, and wildlife as Churchill Meadows continues to develop?
  2. Have you noticed any changes to green spaces, wildlife, flooding, or drainage in the neighbourhood?
  3. What would you like the City of Mississauga to prioritize when balancing new development with environmental protection?

Even a short response would be extremely helpful!

With your permission, I may summarize your comments anonymously in my university assignment.

Thank you so much for your time and help! 😊

When should I start looking into research/internships as an undergrad?

Hi, I just started my first semester of college and it's already been a lot both academically & mentally (a lot of personal life stuff). I'm worried about falling behind in applying for research/internships though. A lot of this is because I am technically already at sophomore standing (went into college with 40 credits already completed, thanks AP), and I'm set to graduate by 2029 instead of 2030 like most of my class. I know experience is a huge part of getting accepted into grad programs and getting a job in general post undergrad. Should I be applying for research/ internships already?
