Corrected the thread this time because last time I accidentally merged the names of Andrew Wiggins and Aaron Wiggins together and created a fictional entity known as Anthony Wiggins
(Side Note: are Aaron and Andrew related?)
Is he just a better Mikal Bridges for H2H Points League? Wiggins can be slotted into the exact same SF + SG slots as Mikal, but unlike Mikal so far, he's actually put some numbers out there.
Aaron as a SG + SF slot compatible player has had a fantastic showing for H2H Points Leagues last week. Can he maintain that momentum and average, or is it unsustainable and he's likely to plummet?
Across 3 games hes earn 97 fantasy points with an average of 32.3 fantasy points per game, seeing between 22 and 39 minutes of playtime per game
Meanwhile Mikal has only earned a grand total of 28 total fantasy points across 3 games, resulting in an average of 9.3 fantasy points per game, seeing between 22 and 35 minutes per game.
I know a 3 game sample size isn't the greatest, but Aaron seems like he has some potential to me.
Will Mikal plow through victorious with the power of "he plays 82 games!" Or is Anthony Wiggins the secret weapon coming from behind with a steel chair to smash him out of business?
An issue with Wiggins seems to be that he plays less games, playing between 50 and 78 games a year during his tenure with OKC depending on what specific year, which definitely falters in some aspects compared to "I Play 82 Games a year" Bridges.
In terms of minutes, Aaron also had substantially less minutes than "I play 82 games a year" during his OKC Tenure, where he hovered around an average in the low to mid 20s for minutes played. But it seems like his new Atlanta tenure is changing that. Is his new average minutes (currently around 27 minutes) going to be sustainable for his outlook?
Has Atlanta spoken about how much usage they intend to get out of Wiggins in comparison to his usage during his OKC Tenure?
