Hey all I'm playing fantasy basketball for the first time, and after 1 week, I have a question.

Playing Cat 9 head to head, and I did 4 add/drops on the margins to win my first match. Is there supposed to be this much churn and burn?

Thoughts on hartensteins usage after the two major injuries will he have more impact on the game or will it stay the same.

What about the other OKC players? Ajay Caruso Mcain

McCain will start doing better
Caruso’s old so not much to know if he gets more minutes but maybe more touches
Will they be better than brazile, Naji, Grayson Allen??

Dyson Daniels’s position on ESPN is SG,PG, but he started as SF in all 3 games, with McCollum as PG and NAW as SG.

Do you think ESPN will update his position eligibility anytime soon? (Anyone remembers whether he had SF last season?)

I got him a lot earlier than I would have liked but watching these other rookies perform is giving me hope. Everyone is playing as good as expected pretty much except for DP who’s just in a tough situation imo. Personally I think AJ should be good for 17-6-3-1.5 stocks - 47%FG- 80% FT and 1.3 3P. I feel his knack for scoring the ball will help the wizards since he’ll probably instantly be the best wing threat on the team. Maybe I’m being too optimistic but I think he’ll do well. How about you?

In past seasons I’ve used Basketballmonster (paid), and FantasyWizard app to check weekly matchup predictions to show which categories will be close, easy wins losses etc. I can’t seem to find anything that works for this season. Is there any free (or at least cheap) resources that can help with this?

Sorry if this should go in daily OAG thread, but thought the overall discussion might be bigger.

This early in the season with the tiny sample sizes, how are you approaching setting your lineup this week?

Eg. I won 5-1-1 last week but would’ve lost to this week’s opponent 2-5. Would you put your “best” lineup out there in terms of ADP? Performance thus far? Are you looking at which cats are close and focusing on them while punting the ones that wouldn’t have been close?

Just trying to get an overall feel for whether I should be sticking with guys like Harden and Buzelis in my lineups despite their awful first weeks.

Collin Murray Boyles plays very low minutes for some reason despite the fact that Kawhi is no show. I believe he has no problem filling up the statsheet in coming few games. There's no way he all of a sudden forgets how to play basketball.

I picked him up late into the draft and am not expecting much but wondering what everyone’s else’s thoughts are? Last year he was off and on the waivers all throughout the season and this year I finally scooped him up.

Second leg of a B2B - haven’t been up to date with Ant but does he normally sit out B2Bs?

Black made his season debut Sunday after missing the first two games with an ankle sprain, and he looked more than ready, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 5 3s, 5 assists, 3 boards and 2 steals in 26 minutes. With Banchero out for an extended period and Suggs hurt, Black will play a lot of minutes and provide a much-needed versatile guard who can create, defend and help generate offense. The Magic elected not to extend him earlier in the offseason. It'll be interesting to see how his play might force their hand. He's a must-add in all formats as he'll see a big boost in usage going forward. CONGRATS IF YOU SNAGGED HIM.

I’ve got Harden in second round 16 team 9cat H2H.

I know he off to a very slow start.

But is he on Chris Paul dramatic drop off territory or is this just a quick slump and will he bounce back? Father Time is undefeated as we all know.

I’m not overreacting here and I think he’ll hopefully probably be fine, but could this be the year where he takes that dramatic dip?

Hes been amazing to start the season especially alongside giannis his playmaking numbers have seen an uptick and hes getting to his shots seemingly easier. Do we think he could be a top 100 player this season?

Will Paul George be able to be a 40-45 fantasy points player this season? Seeing many overreactions to his first game but he seems to be the 2nd option on this celtics squad. Is this a sell high spot or hold?

Is he finally starting to see real minutes or is this just a fluke until Nurkic returns? So far he’s looked very controlled, can play within the offense, and is efficient.

Should he be rostered if he’s available in your league and is it time to buy into his stock

Is it normal for leagues to have a season limit on adds? This is the first time I’m playing in a league like this and it’s 50 adds limit for the entire season.

Personally not a fan because staying active in add/dropping and streaming is what makes fantasy fun for me

Never really followed CMB or have watch his game this year but saw him late last season and he looked pretty solid for a big man. I have him as my 11th round pick. 14 team category league. His minutes are low and did not really show any change today even with kahwi out. What happened today?
