Specifically and especially for the way it treated the dynamic between Cortana/Chief. I think it was a very appropriate way to advance Master Chief's character beyond the mostly-silent archetype without feeling like too much of a departure. I also wish they kept with the future that H4 was setting up, because I would love to see what the original next arc in this story was intended to be before Halo 5: Guardians came to be.

Also did some pretty big improvements to my Revenant. A couple of little scenery mockups to see how they may look in practice. A little something special is planned for the next post. See if you can guess what I'm working on!

I know they were removed from Combat Evolved. So late that they were modeled and included in the manual. They would then feature in the first four books with First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx arguably being their biggest showing. They were also mentioned in the Halo 2 conversations from the universe, the Halo 3 Bestiarum and the Halo Graphic Novel. So how come Bungie didn’t reimplement them in the games until ODST?

Hard to believe it’s already been 11 years since Halo 5 came out. Perhaps the most controversial game in the franchise, it is still a game worth celebrating. Cheers, Spartans!

Good evening, everyone! Here's a video from inside the bridge of a Paris-class frigate as its MAC fires a few rounds! Honestly, I keep forgetting I'm NOT making a video game, but I'm having just as much fun with this as if I were. Blowing up Covenant ships is so much fun, especially since I haven't programmed them to fight back yet. Otherwise, I'd be absolutely screwed! 😂

And I'm saying this without having any nostalgia for this game, my first playthrough was around 2023.

The night sky over the forest, the high strings and woodwind instruments playing in the background, and Cortana's dialogue over it all as the music crescendos, all finally culminate with the reason as to why Master Chief is so special.

Luck. Not because he's the strongest or the bravest, but because of his luck.

And then after that, there's the aftermath with Johnson thinking Chief's dead, only for him to grab onto his arm proving he's still kicking.

AND THEN there's the feud between Chief and The Arbiter with that sweet, sweet piano melody in the background, it's just too good...

Hey, guys! I’ve been pretty busy lately, but here are a few WIP updates on what I’ve been working on!

1. UNSC Frigate Bridge: I’ve been working on the main command bridge for the UNSC frigates, defining the stations and responsibilities of each operator: HELM (piloting and maneuvering), NAVIGATION (navigation, course plotting, and Slipspace operations), WEAPONS (general weapons systems and the MAC cannon), among others. I’ve also been working on making the ship’s captain fully controllable, allowing them to move freely around the bridge. I’ll still need to set up each station with its respective officer. I’m also working on making every screen display real-time data relevant to the systems and responsibilities assigned to each station.

2. Paris-Class Frigate Structure: I’ve been 3D modeling the overall structural framework of the Paris-class frigate. The goal is to eventually divide the ship into sections and properly organize its internal compartments and numbered decks.

3. Pelican Flight Controls and Boarding Ramp: I’ve also been working on the Pelican’s flight controls and its personnel boarding ramp. I’ve added steps to make it easier to board the Pelican when it’s landed and the ramp is fully lowered to the ground. These steps pivot and retract automatically depending on the ramp’s angle.

4. Covenant Weapons: I’ve also been refining the Covenant ships’ weapon systems a bit, although I’m still far from satisfied with how they look.

Still plenty of work ahead, but things are starting to come together!

Never played Halo besides a couples times in my buddy’s basement 20 years ago. Not familiar with the campaign.

Is the Halo Campaign Evolved game on ps5 worth it ? Seen some harsh critics and wondering if it’s worth the 70$ cad for it.

Once you get to this point on level 3 of The Library! Look up at this pipe, while using the acrophobia skull, follow the path I do. IF YOU DO NOT YOU WILL DIE! Make sure you get checkpoints along the way. Activate Machinima Mode in the location I do by doing a slight jump up. Once you get the Camera out ENJOY!

I've been searching over a decade for a minifig that I lost ages ago. Its a brown spartan wearing Mark VI armor, very little articulation (if I remember correctly it only had a single ball joint inside the torso, allowing you to separate the top and bottom portion, or swivel the figure) it was in a running/dash stance holding a standard battle rifle. It honestly looked like Master Chief painted brown. It was definitely from the Halo 3 era if that helps. Any comments are appreciated, any help is needed. The image below is the closest I can find, but its 12 inches and more articulate than what im referring to.

I personally enjoy Halo 5's Warzone Firefight due to the Req Weapons and variety of options to take something down, the only thing i don't like are fighting things like vehicles or the Knight round 5 bosses. I also think the Goblin was a really cool addition to the mix. I love using The Answer on Hunters its such a awesome weapon.

As the title states, if Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 could have subtitles what do you think would be good names? Im asking because other entries, namely Halo: CE, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 5: Guardians and Halo (6): Infinite all seem to have thematic names. Combat evolved = the year is 2552 and we're fighting space jihadist. 3: ODST = the events of halo 3 from a ODST's perspective. Halo reach = the outbreak of the war on planet reach. 5: guardians = that stupid plot point about planet destroyers/teriformers that never gets brought up before or after (i hate halo 5). Finally infinite = the halo rings are building themselves. With all that being said im thinking halo 2 could maybe be "halo 2: revelations" a) because the covenant are on a crusade and revelations is a biblical passage and b) because Master Chief and The Arbiter both get the same revelation from the Gravemind. Im thinking halo 3 could be either "halo 3: finish the fight" as per the tag line during all the promotional material or "halo 3: a promise kept" because the whole game Master Chief is trying to get back to Cortana and he has visions of her. Lastly im thinking halo 4 could be "halo 4: reclaimer" as originally in 2010(?) 343 industries said that halo 4 was going to be a part of a new trilogy called the reclaimer trilogy (lol howd that go?) And within the story of halo 4 Master Chief is fighting a forerunner, the Didact, but gets revealed to him by the Librarian that he too is a forerunner, titled the reclaimer per 343 guilty spark's dialogue all the way back in Halo: CE, Chief just didn't really know what that meant until the Librarian told him and powered him up to resist the dusting laser. Now these are just my ideas i would really like to hear what other people would name those 3 halo games.
