Watch on Kings+
Seriously. It’s one game and he’s 19. Let’s all take a deep breath.
Yes it’s a bad first game. In fact it’s one of the worst i’ve ever seen to be honest but let’s not overreact and start calling him a bust. It’s game 1 of thousands and thousands to come. He is going to be fine.

Not a great look for the reporters.

He is clearly our best player that almost has a triple double with 18 boards. He's been setting up multiple players who can't hit their shots. His positives far outweigh his negatives. He can stay on this team as long as he wants.
Edit: 14/18/8 while taking only 5 shots and making 100% of them.

This team is ass, the owner is ass, the TV broadcast team is ass, the cost of tickets is ass, the in-game entertainment (minus Red Panda) is ass, the food is ass, downtown commons is ass, the cost of parking to pay for the arena is ass. What am I missing?

The likelihood that a sale will go to a group wanting to keep the Kings in Sacramento is low. Please think about what happens when the team is sold. Thanks!

Coming from a disgruntled pessimistic Kings fan, I'm actually looking forward to this season.
I'm intrigued to see a healthy Keegan and Hunter play both ends of the floor together,
looking forward to see Sabonis and Acuff work together with LaVine set up as the primary option, now that DeRozan is gone.
I’m Intrigued with the Kings bench too, they finally have someone who can distribute the ball with Monk and Max as the scorers. And of course also interested in seeing Nique, Achiuwa and Cardwell play their roles in the rotation.
All that and didn’t even mention Sharp, who if plays well this season can replace Monk, if traded and just add that much defense to the team.
Now will this team be fighting the top teams in the West for the high seed? no, but for once we have a NBA roster that makes sense.

I care that they lost playing street ball. We have no identity. No schemes. I’m a relentlessly positive guy, but fire Doug. He was a workhorse as a player but was never a leader.

I always brag about how chill Kings fans are. We tend to be among the most passionate fans in all of sports and I love the city so much. But this situation sucks.
I see so many comments about how the women caught on the hot mic "need to be punished as if they were men". And yet, when news came out about Doug Christie, Scott Perry, and other staff sexually harassing a female Kings staffer...? Crickets. Maybe a post about it and a comment or two. But now we hear a pair of women talking about how Ben Simmons has nice skin and y'all are ready with the guillotines. Insane.
We had Terrance Davis on the squad for years who was actually arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. I guarantee you the same people calling for "justice" for these reporters didn't give a single shit about that.
Now to be clear, what the women (AND MAN BY THE WAY) said was completely, ridiculously unprofessional and they should absolutely be held accountable. They made our organization look terrible. Usually our org is pretty clean with this stuff even though the team sucks and this year has been super disappointing in that regard.
But come on. If you really want justice, start talking about Blake Griffin, Miles Bridges, Zion Williamson, Mike Bibby even. People who may have done horrible things. Give me a break.

There's no way in hell there were that many people at G1C last night.
Fastbreak deals should be plentiful this season and I'm looking forward to paying less to get in the door. They really should adopt fan friendly concessions like the Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Falcons as well.

Looks like Sacramento is finally tired of being overcharged for a terrible product.

I know he's a fan favorite with his chant and his incredible rookie season. But at this point he is been in the league for 4 years and every year his offense has dramatically dropped.
2023: 45% FG, 41% 3P, 60% TS on 14.8 PPG
2024: 45% FG, 35% 3P, 56% TS on 16.3 PPG
2025: 44% FG, 34% 3P, 55% TS on 13.0 PPG
2026: 42% FG, 27% 3P, 49% TS on 14.6 PPG
I fully understand his defense has gotten better but the truth of the matter is his solid defense is leading to zero win equity on this roster construction. We need him to up his offense and be able to score more than 15PPG when he plays 35 MPG. We are now year 5 on Keegan and he's already an older rookie. He's about to be 26 years old and ever since his rookie year he's stagnated or gotten worse. On top of that we most definitely overpaid him on a 5 year/140m contract. What he's producing on the floor is no where near what we paid him. This has to be a make or break season for Keegan. If he's still putting up 14PPG on 30% 3P shooting then there is no way to defend him or his absurd contract.
Cmon Keegan, we all love you, you have to step up here

I know players have stinkers from time to time and that’s normal but jeez wtf happened last night, what is the consensus on the outlook for niques development? I feel like best case scenario he’s a decent rotation piece and worst case scenario he’s out of the league in a couple of years
