To be honest, and I'll say this right off the bat, I'm not sure how I feel about this idea overall, the tough part is that we have a lot of guys I like and want to get minutes, so it's really a tough call and I am not envious of TY in figuring this out...
Most of this thought is about moving IJAX and Rui around.
What if Rui goes to the 3 and IJAX plays the 4 with Brook, IJAX can swap 4/5 with Baba, and Baba can also play the 4 with Brook. Kind of a 3 man big rotation, and when Yanic comes back, him and Brook simply cover the 5.
Rui at the 3 then allows for the staff to bring him off the bench later when Ingram comes back, which may be the only way to justify Rui off the bench along with his ego accepting it as well, and if he doesn't step up to where we need him to be anyway, this might need to happen.
Then, DG plus DJJ at the 2, and Wagler plus Dunn/Sanders (for rui til BI comes back, then Sanders or Dunn for DJJ depending on matchups).
Besides that, going forward, I just don't know how you incorporate Strus/Grady and eventually Jordan, this is the really tough part, even Beal lol
I think IJAX at the 4 is intriguing and potentially works, in my opinion, ONLY (altho we did see him knock in that 3 lol) because we have stretch 5s, and I could see him being an absolute monster at the 4 where then our rebounding would be WAY less of a concern.
Rui at the 3 is also interesting to me as he would also have nice size at that position.
Anyway, it would probably slow them down a bit (tho honestly, after last night, they may need to prove they can take care of the ball playing that fast anyway), and Rui's defense at the 3 would not be DJJ's defense at the 3, and they wouldn't have the defensive duo of Dunn and DJJ, so that is a bit of a bummer, but Ty has said he would like Dunn with Wagler to help him out, so that rotation lines up...
Tough call overall of course, maybe this is an automatic no for some of you, but I think it might be interesting to try to see how it works out.
