My grandpa recently passed away and we're in the process of sorting through his things. My grandma and him were avid musicians, and loved playing the electric organ.
Long story short, my grandma won a settlement from a motorcycle accident and came into a sum of money. From late 2008 until her death in 2011, they had bought and traded in 12 organs and had a 13th on order. My grandpa kept this one after she passed, and actually had it shipped from Arizona to Michigan when they sold their house down there.
This Lowrey Legend A4000 organ was $37,088 new. Even with their trade in, they still had to pay $12,000 for this organ. I had absolutely no idea they were that much until my mom found the invoices for everything. Their cancelled order was on a A5000, and that was $55k! He also still had his A200 that he originally bought for the house in Michigan. He tried selling it for years and had no luck, but (understandably) wouldn't give it away.
Now, essentially these organs are worthless. People have trouble giving them away. They've been nearly fully replaced with standard electronic keyboards. Facebook is loaded with free organs, or $250 immaculate examples. I cannot believe the loss of value these have. I'm half tempted to learn how to play it just because of the investment they made.

I’m 10 minutes from my airport, easy fare for drivers. You don’t want it, don’t accept. Also rated as a good tipper.
Driver accepted the fare while he was still at the airport in traffic. There were plenty of cars within 5 minutes of me, took almost 15 for him to get to me. Fine, I prep early & am outside waiting.
He does a clunky U turn, I’m expecting him to either park on the open curb or back into the drive way.
Rolls window down, I say ‘Good Morning’ he’s says ‘’morning”
I grab my carryon. Window goes up, I walk behind the vehicle to load & he drives off.
Better fare?
Mildly infuriating?
Reaction to pride flag?
Infuriating

I booked at €60 and have already paid for flights. Any accommodation in that area is going for extortionate rates.

* Russell. Close enough.
* Edit to add: I suspect that’s a shadow on his head and not hair. It didn’t move with his animations. This isn’t worth berating me in the comments over.

I bought a ticket through SeatGeek for $88. The seller never delivered it. Instead of canceling the order, SeatGeek gave the seller an extension, on the day of the concert. They gave the seller until 5 PM to deliver tickets for a show that started at 8 PM. I told SeatGeek I wanted the order canceled. They refused and extended the seller's deadline instead.
SeatGeek advertises a replacement or refund guarantee. When the seller still didn't deliver, SeatGeek told me they couldn't find any replacement tickets and that they would refund me.
I went and found tickets myself, on SeatGeek's own site. They were around $243. I told SeatGeek I had found tickets and bought them, and asked for a refund for that $243, since I was just trying to get to the concert I had already paid for and traveled for.
That is when they told me that "we can't find replacement tickets" actually means they can't find anything within a certain price threshold they don't disclose upfront. If I had known beforehand that this was a threshold issue and not actually an availability issue, I would have handled the whole thing differently. I only found out about the threshold after I had already spent the money.
I traveled from Florida to DC for this concert and had already spent a lot on travel to be there. I did not have an extra $243 to spend, but I put it on my credit card because I thought I was helping resolve the problem SeatGeek itself couldn't fix.
I asked for a refund and told them I would skip the concert entirely, I just wanted my money back. They told me all sales are final.
So now I'm, out $243, and my only route left is disputing this with my card issuer. This whole "guarantee" felt like a bait and switch from start to finish.
Edit: tickets: are all standing room the tickets aren't seats so they are all identical.
Edit: I'm not even pressed about the money now it's about the princple I've bought skateboards and totes from people on this site so tell me how those people are more trustworthy and less scummy than a billion dollar company
Edit: SeatGeek Buyer Protection Policy If any of these things do not occur, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to resolve any verified issue(s) covered by this Buyer Guarantee, by providing you with comparable or better tickets to the event, a refund or, subject to applicable law, a credit.
Edit: I will not be disputing the enter 240 only the difference between 88 and the 240.
Edit: Submitting a complaint to the office of the District AG is probably the best move from what I understand.

I was wearing it to the gym for lifting and jogging (only a mile or two at a time), but it only lasted 24 days. I have no idea how the tear happened. They were difficult to get on for a while, so maybe when I was using a shoe horn?
I chatted with VANS, and they said to post a review if I wanted my warranty. The first review, they sent an email saying that I included personal information in it, so they couldn't post it. I didn't, so that was interesting. Next two reviews, they ignored. Looks like they'll just keep ignoring me.
Edit: For those asking, I always untied them. My feet are closer to 9 than 9.5 and they are size 9. Maybe the laces should have been looser, but I see from the comments that I'm not the only one who's seen a tear right there. Yes, I can see that it looks like a cut, but I have no idea how that would have happened.

I’m looking for an apartment and thought I’d found a pretty good listing on Nextdoor. Little did I know, this asshole was gonna waste an hour and a half of my time and not even acknowledge it. What a dick.
Not shown in the screenshots: me calling his number and the number on the sign out front a total of seven (7) times.

With my No Soliciting sign in full view and Ring replying we're unavailable. She decides to ring + knock twice with my baby napping.
The inconsiderate soliciting asshole finally rides off on her hoverboard to top it off. Good luck with your "sales" competition...

My job paid for the room, I would have never stayed here otherwise.
Edit: The comments have pointed out that the $699 price on the door is something called a "rack rate" and this room generally goes for $150 to $200 a night. But that's still too much for that room in that condition.
