First lychee flavored mochi and it was ok. I’ve had lychee flavored things before and those had more of a fruity flavor while this had a more perfume like flavor, which granted may be more accurate to actual lychee fruit of which I have never had. Despite that I still would go for these again!

Got these the other day from local Asian market. Had a nice squish to them in hand and a great chew when bitten. As soon as I opened the package the scent of maple hit me (in a good way) and the tartare was just as good tho not as strong. My only issue was purely I wish they were bigger!

From left to right (Oreo, matcha, blueberry, and taro). All of them had a nice crunch with nice softer interior. The matcha and taro were thankfully not overly flavored, very mute in flavor but that made them perfect. The Oreo tasted like an average cookies and cream donut, not bad just average. The blueberry one tho was super punch you in the face with flavor, which it didn’t taste bad was just too intense for my taste. They have a few other flavors that I’ll eventually try.

Hi mochi lovers! I lived in Japan a few years ago and was obsessed with buying this specfic dango mochi at night from my local Lawson. I moved back to the states almos 3 years ago and ever since then all of the prepackaged mochi I have tried just doesn't compare. It's my most intense craving and my mouth waters just thinking about it. Does anyone know where I can purchase this where it will deliver to a USA address?

Pretty good! Flavored, not filled. I think I would have preferred filled, but the deliciousness makes it hard to complain haha~

Went to the store to get my favorite mochi, but they were totally gone?? (Like, not sold out, there wasn't even a tag for it anymore.) So I got what I was hoping would be the next best thing. Unfortunately I didn't really like the texture of this mochi - it was pretty tough & not chewy. The jam was really yummy tho! Has anyone else tried this one?

Please help me. I found this mochi in a supermarket nearby and I don't speak Japanese, so it was hard to look for the ingredients they use or the company in general online. Trying mochi has been my dream for the last few years but I can't verify if they're halal or not.

Like I said it's my first try and am not sure if they are too soft they turn into D shape flat bottom rather than O shape but I guess if they are so big its hard for them to maintain their original shape?

Am in Europe and I can't seem to get correct rice for mochi they sell glutinous rice or sticky rice but its not right type, its not short grain so not having short grain be just as good since they aren't specifying amylopectin % on internet?

Hey I'm looking for anyone that sells qood quality little mochi bits like to put on ice cream and frozen yogurt or to just snack on. I'm hoping to find one without added sugar or corn syurp as I don't want any added sugar in my icecream. But if none exist I'll just try whichever. Its a real shame Fugetsu-do doesn't sell theirs in smaller than 27 pound bags!

Thank you!

Bf bought some mochi at the store there weeks ago, theyve bene in the fridge. He wants to eat them but the expiration date seems dubious to me. (I know they're not great quality the man likes his junk food)

Can anyone help me fix these 2 failed mochi doughs. The pink one has 100g of rice flour 60g of sugar and 110ml of water and it had quite a few min rounds in the microwave covered but i kept going as it wasn’t getting thick or sticky rather just thick and pasty? And the green one i added extra rice flour as i have more ice cream balls (150g) and guesstimated extra sugar and water and both have a teeny bit of ice cream and the pink one has food colouring to customise it. I’m still determined to fix it just not sure where i went wrong. i also added a bit of cornstarch to the green one and it ended up feeling slightly oobleck like on the spatula but overall just a runny hot mess. someone please help 😵‍💫

Hello,

I’m dying to make homemade mochi donuts. I bought glutinous rice flour and I also have tapioca starch.

The recipes online don’t seem all that and had bad results.

Please let me know if anyone has amazing recipes

My mochi donuts kept having sticky dough inside

So, I was planning on making home made mochi, but I bought sweet rice instead of sweet rice flour. Is there any way I can turn the rice into the flour?

Please help, thank you!

I really wanna make it myself

hi I tried little moons and I just wasn’t a fan of the ice cream so I’m tried Royal Family today and loved the texture but it didn’t really taste of much.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Mochi in the UK? That isn’t ice cream and actually tastes of something.😭 thank you in advance
