To the nasty POS who left their fingernail clippings on a desk inside CN-227 within the last hour, I sincerely hope that karma gets you.
That is just nasty as hell. No home training whatsoever.
If you want to clip your nails, go to the bathroom. Go outside.
That's just nasty as hell.

Some of you act as if you were raised in a barn, and it shows! Do better, please...

Hi guys, I’d really like some advice right now. I’m debating between taking BIO 141 online or in person at NOVA. I have two main concerns, if I take it online I don’t wanna end up having to dissect anything in my house. If I take it in person I don’t wanna be stuck in class/lab for super long hours. For anyone whos taken bio 141 recently, do online lab kits make you do any physical dissections or anything of that sort or are they mostly virtual? For in person are the lab blocks as long and intense as they look or do u tend to get out early? Any advice or professor recommendations would be super helpful!

Needing to work at an animal hospital to be admitted into the program? Thats understandable. What's not understandable is why I would also need a mentorship when the school is supposed to be the one teaching me vet related skills and knowledge. Especially in a culture where apparently no one is hiring despite being an "understaffed field" and no vet clinic gaf about teaching upcoming vet techs. I've literally had vet clinics turn down my job application because no one wants to be bothered with mentoring or having to properly train their vet assistants. Hell, even the animal hospital I DO work at turned their back on me the second classes started because they didn't want to be bothered with having to train someone whose new to being a vet assistant and pushed me back down to being a kennel attendant even after signing the mentorship packet where they legally promised to train me.

I thought I'd be fine even without my "mentor" because the class i'm taking is "entry level and even people who have 0 experience will be fine." But surprise surprise that's a lie too! Clearly, I still need above entry level knowledge because if I display entry level knowledge or ask for help the teachers will just get annoyed at me. Now i'm being told that because the class I failed was a lab i'm going to be forced to take a year off before I can enroll in any other vet classes even though im on my way to passing the other two classes I'm taking. The advice I got? "Review your skills with your mentor in the meantime." I CAN'T. MY "MENTOR" CAN'T BE ASSED TO TEACH ME ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER VETERINARY CLINIC IN THE DMV AND APPARENTLY THIS COLLEGE AS WELL. I already had to take a year off before I got into the vet tech program because my job lied to me before about being willing to sign my mentorship program and they just didn't. This program is supposed to have only taken me 2 and a half years to finish but at this rate it's taking me 5+ years because i've been getting screwed over from the moment I enrolled to NVCC.

Has anyone taken creppy and if so how was he?

So I’m planning on taking Eco 202 my spring semester and I’m stuck with two choices I can either do I could either do Polcen or Creppy

if I choose the polcen in class I’m gonna have three classes in a day and it’s gonna be a lot if I choose creppy, it’ll be more spread out, but I’ve never had a creppy for class. I’ve polcen before but im dropping it this semester because of workload build-up.

I recently decided to switch majors, from Business Administration to Environmental Science. I’m planning to apply to UVAs fall semester under their College of Arts and Sciences. Is there anything I can do to help myself or do I have to go through another year of school. Is this even possible?

which should i take

I was hoping to take a course that ends March 7th, how long after this date would I expect the grade on my transcript. If the professor has it graded by the 12th would it appear on the transcript at the same time or later?

Hello,

I already completed a degree 2 years ago, now i'm returning for a cert, about 3 courses (7 credits) have already been completed before in my previous program, is there any action needed from me to count them in ?

Thank you

Whats an easy lab science as a business admin major? Hi, I was wondering if any current or past sonography or radiology students can tell me what the schedule for the program is like? Is working possible? Full-time/part-time? Mainly just want to know what I’m looking at as far as a schedule if I decide to apply.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good DM professors? Rmp pretty much lists every prof with bad reviews. I’m debating CS 208 or Math 288, preferably CS 208

Does anyone know if meteorology satisfies the science requirement for business administration? I am taking biology next semester but don’t want to take chemistry

I enrolled to take Calc 1 with Professor Robert Farinelli, mainly because of the great reviews he has on Rate my Professor. However, upon second review, many people have said that they felt unprepared for the next course in the sequence (calc 2) when starting the next class. Does anyone have more recent experience with him and would be willing to share? Thank you!

im taking a class at this military base but I don't have a ca and my sister who isnt a student at nova / no DoD ID, would need drive me to class every Tuesday. NOVA says they can only sponsor students, and Uber/Lyft apparently can't access the base.

Can my sister get a visitor pass to drop me off weekly? Are there any other transportation options? I really don't want to drop the class. Any advice is appreciated! 😭

Has anyone taken ITD 110 online? How is it? There's no classes on the Manassas campus. I just enrolled with Prof. Gonchar. Anyone else had him before?
