Other Decathlon CMA CGM junior Ezra Bateman clocked the fastest time in the British National Hill Climb Championships - but isn't eligible to take home the overall title

Yesterday was the national hill climb champs in the UK, and alongside the usual suspects, 16 year old Ezra Bateman showed up (he's been smashing this hill climb season already) and topped the leaderboard, setting the fastest time of the entire day. But controversially, because he is a junior he didn't receive what is considered the overall title, only the junior title. Feels a bit odd but the rules are the rules! Nowhere near the same thing but funny to imagine if the white jersey winner wasn't eligible for the yellow!

Here's the mandatory interview he has to make with RMC(owned by CMA CGM). And before you see the quotes in every news aggregator.

It's in french but the YouTube translation are pretty accurate.
