Oh my god tell me why the lines at Windsor today stretched across the ocean, because I waited 30 minutes in line for some grilled cheese right? Not even exaggerating btw— but the line finally moved forward and them greedy asses at the front of the line began stacking the grilled cheese like legos, but that’s understandable cus they have been waiting for a long time like me. Anyways, my time finally came and there was one grilled cheese left on that table— yes, a blessing from a heaven— and then a random fucking guy cut the line in front of me and grabbed that sandwich with his bare hands and I yelled “bro wtf????”. Unfortunately this abomination left before I could do anything and he was wearing headphones too and holy shit I regretted not squaring up so bad. You know sometimes there’s assholes in the world that will steal your grilled cheese which makes me wonder how people like that even got into Purdue.

there's a guy standing outside target with gore of an aborted fetus next to target. i reported him and he's talking abt calling the cops so there might be cops there too soon

Could any current FST residents tell me about your experience with this dorm? Are the walls thin? Do the showers have good ventilation and does showering get the bathroom wet and is there a moisture issue in the bathrooms? Does the staff do a good job of cleaning the bathrooms (I'll keep it clean but just curious)? Thank you!

I am currently finishing out my degree at Purdue, and would like more clients as I am currently earning multiple dog behavior certifications which require several hundreds of hours of client work. I am certified in behavior assessment, and will offer the first two sessions for free. Sessions are usually one hour. If you would like more than two sessions I will charge a heavily discounted price of $20 an hour. Message me to learn more, all sessions will be conducted in a public setting.

I’m a Purdue freshman, and my CS professor emailed me saying they have evidence that I copy/pasted code from an external source. I have a meeting with them on the evening, and I’m really anxious about what might happen.

For context, I wrote the code myself before the exam and copied it to my clipboard because I was worried about running out of time. During the exam, I pasted it into one question. I didn’t use someone else’s code or AI, but I understand that this violated the exam instructions, which explicitly prohibited outside websites and software.

I’m planning to be honest about what happened, but I’m worried about the consequences.

Has anyone been through a similar situation at Purdue, especially in CS? What happened during the meeting? Is it possible to get a zero on the exam rather than fail the entire course? Does the professor decide the penalty, or does it go through the Dean of Students?

I’d really appreciate hearing about people’s actual experiences or advice on how to prepare for the meeting. I’m not trying to justify what I did; I just want to understand what to expect.

How do I even get research. Ive been cold emailing professors and some of them said I can come to thei meetings, but its just presentations of current phd student. How do I specifically get a research position for the summer because its most likely I wont get an internship for the summer. Also, I've been looking at Purdue research application sites and been applying, but havent heard anything yet

is anyone with a car going to Quadeca (or Chicago in general) on the 30th? or would like a heavily discounted ticket? ty im desperate lol

Geeg🤣🤣

To the guy who turfed it on his skateboard in between Northwestern/Stadium 4-way, you didn't pick up your airpod charger when you were rushing to pick things up. Poor guy, I have the charger, as I think you still had the airpods in your ears, but I have it here at ARMS 1252.

You started skateboarding back through the service road between ARMS and HAMP/PHYS. Hope I can find you. I don't wanna give to the lost and found at Surplus because they'll just sell it eventually.

Cheers

I am not the type to ask strangers for advice but I’m just so lost right now. I’m a sophomore in ME and recently I’ve just been so stressed and burnt out that it’s really starting to become a downward spiral. I wake up at like 7am every morning and work until like 9pm at the earliest with no breaks and then eat and go to sleep to do the same thing again the next day. I study whenever I can find time to and I’ve all but given up on my hobbies and taking care of myself, I’ve even dropped one of my classes, but it feels like it’s just never enough. I’m still doing poorly on exams and I feel like I’m just not understanding anything in any of my classes. I know this is supposed to be a difficult degree and all but it just feels like I’m living in a waking nightmare every day and I’m starting to wonder if this was the right choice for me. I’m looking for advice— on how to deal with the burnout and stress, or even just what to do next.

Has anyone heard anything about the Midterm 1 grades for MA/STAT 416 with Professor Janjigian? It’s been almost three weeks, and I haven’t seen any updates. Just wondering if anyone has asked the professor or knows when we might get our grades back.

My time slot for picking a room is on Wednesday. For people who have already selected their rooms for next year, what does it look like, and what dorms/apartments are available to get for West Lafayette?

I was wanting to check ny transcript and this error pops up when I try to open the mypurdue link through the information technology page

Hey! So my friends and I are so lost on what to do about applying for a triple room, as we cannot find any good photos ANYWHERE of triples. Are there any real triples in Earhart or are they only converted? Also I heard a tour guide say that there are Windsor triples connected sharing a bathroom and living room? Which part of Windsor is the best? Does South Hall have nice triples?

Ahhhhh any pieces of information or anyones experience in a triple would be helpful! I lived in a converted triple in Meredith South this year and it wasnt bad at all!

What do we think averages are looking like?
