"Seattle has always been my home. It's always been my anchor, so I’m excited to see it take center stage." 👀

Glad to see the boys are there to support Seattle sports!

So glad I decided to watch! 😍

What a gut punch

Just seen that they've released tickets for the Friday open practice while the boys are in Finland 🦑🦑

Painful loss last night, but 4 points out of 6 this week is still good progress.

My wife and I had lots of sticker ideas, and now we've got extras to give away! I'm not selling these, just happy to hand them to excited fans. 🦑

If you're going to the game tonight, I'll hang out during intermission along the wall near the Modelo bar in the lower level. You'll know it's me by the black water bottle covered in these stickers. First come, first served, cause I can only carry so many. ⚓️

If you can't make it tonight, I'm at almost every home game, so if folks are into it, I'll keep em coming! And if you're feeling similarly crafty I'd love to see your work, too! 🥅

Friedman reported on Saturday that Washington is open to trading former 1st round pick winger Ivan Miroshnichenko, who is waivers-eligible at 22 but can't consistently crack the Caps roster.

I only bring it up due to McCann's 10 week injury opening up a roster spot and Lambert has shown that he doesn't trust guys like Nyman or Firkus to play regular NHL minutes. Nyman got called up over the weekend but was a healthy scratch against Minnesota.

PuckPedia's depth chart - Curtis Douglas played 5:17 against Minnesota

Ran into a Kraken rep at Geek Girl Con today and he was talking about the two geeky themed nights that they have coming up. I felt like this Naruto jersey was something this particular reddit would need to know about (however I will personally be first in line for the Snoopy night they’re apparently having in March)

For those who’ve been to a game at Climate Pledge Arena, where’s the best place to park?

Any recommendations for parking that’s reasonably priced and makes getting in and out a little easier?

Would love to hear your tips, favorite parking garages, street parking, monorail, or any park-and-ride suggestions!

Thanks in advance, and LET’S GO KRAKEN 🦑

Why not pick up shooter Frank Vatrano from cash-strapped Anaheim to insulate Catton’s budding ascent into a 1C super stud while he learns under the ruthless iron fist LL “no mistakes” system?

We had a good start. Now Canner has another bruised eyelash or something, and they call up Nyman - and don’t get me wrong, I’m a big Nyman fan. But Coach LL doesn’t trust him and doesn’t want to play him.

Let’s not just be like “uhhh ‘play the kids?’” and not be strategic about this.

We’re a month out from US Thanksgiving with 10 (right?) critical games to play. Based on last night, other than being a little sassy, we’re threatened with being the proverbial rudderless ship.

We have money. As Marek says “that’s what the money is for.”

I’d think strongly about picking up Vatrano’s contract. It’s what basically $4.57 AAV and our baller owner would have to scrape the bottom of her purse to pay him some more for a few more years after? Seems like our loaded organization can absorb that to possibly salvage what the boys have started this year. As opposed to watch Coach LL’s brain explode at the prospect of inputting Jani Nyman somewhere in his anal-retentive system while OFM is out six weeks or whatever it is.

I’m just trying to problem solve. I’m a big Nyman fan, but Coach LL doesn’t trust him in our system, and I get that and think he’s a non-starter at this time. As long as we’ve gotten off to this kind of start and still have a chance to do something besides disappoint the fans in the end, why not do:

1) Vatrano, Matty, Ebs
2) McMann, Stephenson, Mackie
3) KK, Catton, Shaner
4) Meyers, Gaudreau, Winterton

*Douglas available to rip someone’s arms off and beat him to death with them if necessary and otherwise nachos in the press box

What am I getting wrong or missing here? I’m a #NewFan and not super smart so it’s fine if I have this wrong; I just don’t want to be like “whatever; play the kids!” and be content with a sound byte.

Like what’s the plan?
