My fps on space engine is capped at 24 and can’t go above 24, I have a GTX 1080ti and a AMD EPYC 7351p for my cpu, I have no idea what’s happening I think I have a cpu bottleneck but a bottleneck does not cap your fps it causes stutters so I’m not sure I need help.

I don't know how common this is. But it's pretty close to Earth relative to the entire game so I'd be surprised if nobody has found this at all.

The deep cobalt in most popular images comes from contrast-stretching and color balancing meant to bring out cloud features. When researchers reprocessed the Voyager 2 data in 2024, they found Neptune is closer to a muted greenish-blue, much like Uranus, and only slightly bluer.

This is my attempt at what you’d actually see. It's a view from the upper atmosphere of neptune above its cloud tops, as if you teleported there and taken a photo with a phone. Sunlight there is about 1/900th as strong as on Earth, so the scene is dim, like dusk or heavy overcast day on Earth. Theres also a couple stars and a Triton just above the horizon.

How I made it: The base was rendered in SpaceEngine. AI was used for the cloud texture, haze, the moon, etc. I did the color grading and final adjustments in Photopea.

I have V-Sync off there I’ve tried to use NVIDIA control panel, Now I am clueless, can anyone please help me?

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

My game keeps stuttering randomly, and Saturn’s rings no longer render properly they appear with graphical artifacts. Everything used to work perfectly fine, but this issue started happening recently. I’ve already tried completely reinstalling the game and deleting my save file, but the problem still persists.

This might be a tricky / weird question, but can someone please tell me how to duplicate the parameters from this screenshot? It's an old version of one of my custom planets, BEFORE the SE update that changed everything. Try as I might, I can't recreate it. It's obviously mountains, but I can't ever seem to get them to be form this cauldron type shape anymore. Help!?!?!
