Super excited that my first squirrel house is finished. Any tips on how to coax a resident in? I’ve pole-mounted it since this pic about 3.5m high.

Both found orphaned in different areas. Raised together and so happy.

It is one of my greatest life gifts that I rescue squirrels. Both boys love to zip around the cabin (they are not caged) and wrestle all throughout the day. I am their tree, their friend, their proud adopted mom. I have to spend a lot of time cleaning up from their slippery noodle parties, but my lord- they are so worth it. Squirrels love at such a phenomenal level. I love it that both like to have a meal with me- sitting so sweetly on my arm. They are such beautiful little beings.

I am a squirrel rescue in the woods of Oregon. This sweet little juvenile squirrel is living his best life- from barely alive to having big treats! Happy squirrels are the best little beings on this planet. Happy to have found this page!

Jerry is starting to get closer to me. He’s mischievous but I love him.

I grabbed a squirrel from the middle of the road when I realized it was still alive. I'm not sure what happened it it. It ran to the other side of the road, but let me grab it after that.

I found a sanctuary, but will only be able to bring it at 8am, and it's currently 6pm. I want to keep it alive and comfortable until then. It's got a heated blanket beneath the towel and some water. I've also got a heater running in the room. The girl on the phone told me not to worry about food.

Is it better to stay in the room with the lights on and keep an eye on it, or to leave the room with the lights off? I don't want to cause extra stress by being in the room.

Is there anything else I can do?

this squirrel has been around for the past few months and i’ve always noticed it’s white spots. is it piebald? is it from scarring turning it’s hair white in those spots?
