Who are we voting for??
Genuinely, I’m not biased towards any candidates, who knows which ones have our best interests at heart.
Overall I’d really love to see a property tax freeze as my main sticking point since I feel like that’s my biggest expense.
What does everyone think? Do we mobilize and target a certain candidate for our votes if it’s for the better?

High Pitch Squeal @ Night
In my neighborhood I hear this high pitch squeal noise at night. It sounds like a dentist drill. At first we (my family ) joked that one of our neighbors is building something in the late hours of the night, but then we began noticing the sound continues all throughout the night and penetrates into the house when windows are closed.
I have been researching online and it may suggest a neighbor using an ultrasonic pest deterrent. Has anyone dealt with something like this before?
For context I have insomnia and it drives me insane.

Oshawa vs Whitby
Hello, my boyfriend and I both 22 are planning to move to Ontario in the spring (April/May) and I am looking for advice on which area we should look at moving to. We are looking for a cat friendly apartment in an area that has decent access to the essentials. We only have one car so public transit is also important. I have tried looking on subreddits but the opinions are so contradictory and feel very biased. I'm wondering what the pros and cons of living in Oshawa vs. Whitby are? Is the crime in Oshawa really as bad as people say? If you can also recommend neighbourhoods to look at/avoid that is appreciated.
