Question/Advice I went to check my radiator and took the cap off and coolant gushed out (car /Engine was cold)

The coolant gushed out. It’s a pink / red color coolant. The car was cold, hadn’t been started for over two days. Dipstick for the engine oil was normal, transparent and amber brown color as usual. Is this minor or major?

Question/Advice Does the octane of fuel really matter?

I have noticed 93 octane stickers in several recent model vehicles. Just how critical is 93 v 87?

Is this a loose shield/an emergency?

some helpful folks say this is a heat shield, but I know this old girl already lost one a few years ago. ( It is rattling some in city driving, and I’m 259 highway miles from home visiting someone in the hospital til tomorrow. ) 2007 Honda Odyssey. The pavement stain is hospital driveway, not where we were parked.

Question/Advice Scratches after tint?

Post image

I got ceramic tint on friday at around 2 pm. The guy said I was good to roll down the windows in 24 hours which I felt was a bit soon but trusted his advice so I waited until today on sunday to do so. Do these scratches look like they happened from rolling down the window too soon? I’m almost positive they weren’t there prior. This is a used car that had tint previously that was removed by the owner himself, so there’s a chance these scratches were there prior to me getting the windows tinted and I just couldn’t see them. It’s also only on the inside of the window and feels smooth to the touch.

I know I should’ve waited at least 3-5 days like most places recommend, where I work I roll down the window to scan my parking pass to drive through the property and so I trusted his word out of laziness so I wouldn’t have to constantly open the door to scan in but I know ultimately this falls on me for not waiting long enough if I did cause it. Thoughts?

Question/Advice Dent and paint chip off on the day of delivery. Need advice on compensation??

Hi everyone,
We took delivery of our brand-new car yesterday, and unfortunately, we noticed a dent and chipped paint. We were honestly shocked and upset because we expected the car to be in perfect condition at delivery. At that moment, we didn’t know how to react. The showroom assured us that they would fix the damage, and they have already sent an email confirming this. We visited the showroom again today to discuss the issue and possible compensation. Apart from getting the damage repaired properly at their expense, we asked them to offer some compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment. The options we are considering are:

Full manufacturer’s extended warranty + cash compensation.
Full-body PPF.
Accessories or some other combination of benefits.

The showroom has offered PPF so far, but we haven’t finalized anything. I understand that the dent and paint chip can be repaired, but it is disappointing to receive a damaged car on day one, especially when you pay for a brand-new vehicle.

Could you guys please suggest which one would be better
