A kind old man had a very friendly pet goose the other day at my Tractor Supply. I didn't know people kept them as pets, but the more you learn the better ^^

(Might be weirdly cropped but I didn't wanna post a random guy in the photo)

I may need to edit it to fix these issues or everyone here can as well as long you have a account in Wikipedia. Thank you!

Would love some recommendations on what to buy as a goose nighttime pen. I’ve seen alot of people use garden sheds but in order for me to get one big enough to house three geese it’s a lot more than what my budget is. Any ideas on what I can buy to build a goose house for At nighttime. Would love to see photos

I’ve been watching the local geese and duck community over the last 3 or so months on an almost daily basis, but this is the first time I’ve seen this one. Can someone help me identify? My app says Swan Goose, but it doesn’t have that knob that I can tell. It was on the Ohio River, in the United States.

Thanks for any help!

My gals were around 4 months old here and were really working there wings.
They never really got off the ground though.

Everyone say hello to Wawa! He is such a lovely, exquisite feathered dinosaur.

such sweet things. 🥲

Hi everyone, my partner and I have 3 seven week old goslings and very soon they’ll be big enough to go and sleep outside. I’m wondering if anyone else keeps their geese in with their chickens at all. That was my original plan because I follow a love of hobby farm accounts and I’ve seen a lot of people how is all of their poultry together together. But after posting on Facebook and asking about it there is a lot of people that have told me that it’s not a good idea to do that just because of breeding season. I’m wondering if anyone could tell me their experiences with this do you have your chickens and geese together at night time if so would love to hear about it. If people tell me that it’s not a good idea that I’m going to have to build another poultry house.

I was told all 3 are female by the breeder. But the grey one is getting heavier and way more dominant than the two white ones.

Any suggestions??? I really don’t want any goslings haha hence why I got 3 girls.. or tried to at least.
