Reminder: Trolling opponent subs will get you banned from /r/Brewers.

No trolling of other team subs will be allowed, and the definition of trolling will be very loose. At this point, i would recommend refraining from posting anything on opponent subs. Its not funny, and will almost never lead to meaningful discussion. All it really accomplishes is making our fanbase looks like douchebags.

If you want a more neutral conversation with other fans, subs like /r/baseball are the place to go.

They said “We get to wake up in Florida” as if that state isn’t the laughing stock of the U.S. 😂🤣

Also, didn’t they sweep the Yankees? One of the top 3 payrolls in baseball? 🤔

Anyone catch the announcers calling Wild Bill greedy?

Yes, they were up 10-0. But calling our catcher greedy for challenging a pitch in the strike zone? In the World Series? Not that I have much respect for, or even a single thought about, Joe Davis and John Smoltz.

Homerism or not, they’ve been disgustingly lopsided and lowkey condescending towards our boys throughout this entire playoff run.

Ken Rosenthal: Brewers expected to name Pat Murphy their new manager, sources tell @TheAthletic. Murphy, Craig Counsell’s former coach at Notre Dame and his bench coach in Milwaukee from 2015 to ‘23, would become his rival in the NL Central.

It's still pretty funny and wild to go through these comments from 3 years ago. And I remember feeling the same way: pissed that we're letting them buy our guy (and therefore our window) and that we're just being safe and cheap by going with who I perceived to be the brawn to CC's brain. Some meat head who I'd seen for years quietly sitting there but never actually heard speak, and who is just going to keep the seat warm until we find some other former player in his 40s to take over and rebuild things.

It's been said many times but I think Murph is special enough to warrant saying it over and over and over again: I've never been so thrilled to have been so wrong, and it's been such an honor and privilege to have the best skipper in sports over the past 3 years on our team.

LFGB!

Be the kind of fan that the team would be proud of

With the Brewers on the cusp of winning their first World Series...from one fan of Brewers baseball to another: please be a good steward of this team, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin as a whole. Whether you're commenting on Reddit, posting on FB/X/'gram, or just wearing the logo IRL...please respect that you're not just representing yourself, you're representing EVERY fan of the team, the team itself, the city, the state, and the people we've lost along the way that didn't get to experience this (including Ueck).

Celebrate what this teams stands for (putting the team above self, putting in the work, never quitting, respecting every aspect of the game, always trying to improve, hustling on every play regardless of the score) and what they've accomplished.

Translation: don't be a Two-Fisted Slopper! It's fun to see other toxic fans get justice and all (like the crybaby-gesture TBR fan), but let's not become them.

To Those Watching in Heaven

• Upvotes

Tonight, 31,000 of us will descend on the Menomonee River Valley, to the same grounds where you watched games at County Stadium and Miller Park.

Many more, wearing familiar colors, will be in St. Petersburg, Florida — blue, yellow, gold, green, and navy sprinkled throughout the stands — honoring 56 years of hope, joy, and heartbreak.

Still others will be packed into living rooms and bars across the state of Wisconsin, glued to TVs and radios, clinging to the drama that unfolds with every pitch — and the thrill that once came from hearing the crack of a bat and the words:

"Swing and a drive. To left-center and deep... Get up... Get up... Get outta here... Gone!"

And all of us, no matter where we are watching, will be thinking of you.

Enjoy Bob's call of the game tonight. We miss you all!

I brought my 7 and 10 year old boys to Milwaukee from Alaska for the World Series, and we’d love to cheer on the Brewers with everyone at the stadium tonight. If anyone has 3 extra watch party tickets they’re willing to sell, please message me. We’d be so grateful for the chance to be there! Let’s go Brewers!!! 💙💛💙💛

Advice if you're going to game 4

Good morning Brewers fans!

For those making the trip to see us win our first ever World Series tonight, here's a few things I learned after attending game 3 (what a game!!). I'll be seeing you all there tonight!

  1. If you don't have a parking pass, there are two parking structures east of the stadium, about a 20 min walk away. Only $30 in the one I parked in. Plenty of spaces, very easy in and out. Scan a QR code to pay. Extremely painless.
  2. Strongly consider eating before getting into the stadium. The prices are astronomical ($25 for three chicken tenders and fries, $10 for a pretzel, $9 for a soda, $23 for a beer).... Second reason is the walkways are extremely narrow for a stadium, so there's a LOT of congestion. Don't expect to get around the stadium quickly, especially within 45 ish mins before the game up to first pitch, and during the game. The walkways are MUCH more narrow than at AmFam.
  3. If/when you do get up during the game, it's much less crowded when the Rays are batting, of course. I'd go then.
  4. There's a ray petting pool in RF. Really cool to go there for a few minutes, especially if you're bringing younger kids. The rays tend to stay on side closer to the field, from what I saw in my 15 mins there, so I'd move down far as you're able to go. You also may need to go elbow deep when you reach in to pet one (read the sign, use two fingers gently on the edge of each ray). Highly recommend checking it out, suggest at least an hr before the game. Obviously wash hands after.
  5. Be LOUD. It's the World Series for crying out loud. The surrounding Rays fans like to try to drown us out by booing louder than we are chanting. So what does the stadium sound guy do? Plays music or one of their Let's Go Rays chants in an effort to drown us out. Last night during game 3, this happened during one of the Rays' mound visits.... Again, the HOME TEAM had to make the stadium loud for THEIR OWN mound visit.... Ever go to AmFam, especially during the playoffs? We get loud for opposing team mound visits, never our own. Our crowd noise absolutely makes a difference.
  6. Every single person I've met here has been unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Ask anyone for help or directions if you need it. The concourse area is very confusing at first. Best way up/down in my opinion are the spiral ramps just because there's less congestion.
  7. You're about to see the Brewers win the first ever World Series. Have an amazing time. Go Crew!
