These engravings and paintings span a time period ranging from over 9,000 years to nearly 12,000 years BC documenting the climatic environmental and cultural transformations experienced by the Sahara region (when it was a green area filled with lakes and animals)

Discussion I'm 18 yo girl and mom is trying to kick me out.

Ummm.. I've never done this before tbh, writing on reddit.

Its just i'm kind of having a mental break and i have no one to talk to.

I'm a 18 yo female, well, my birthday was few days ago so..

I recently got my bac. I study technical english in University of continuous formation.

My parents divorced a year ago, i have 3 younger siblings, i'm the eldest. And i live with my mother, she works btw. Dad got remarried and has a child now. And he's not a big fan of me, at all. Cus he came from a strict traditional familly that hates women in general. So no, living with him is NOT an option.

Ever since i got my bac, mom at first was nice, then instead of a party, she made me celebrate with other cousins even tho they had their own other party (its alright its not like i have any friends) then when the money of tborik started comming, she was taking a lot from it. Saying she'll give it back, almost 15000.00 DA (million and a half and thats kinda a lot) she gave me before that 30000.00 saying thats all what she'll give me, i can choose to buy clothes (haven't bought anything in two years, not even in eid even tho she bought for my siblings) or buy a laptop to study, or whatever, just not bother her.

I accepted, risked 45000.00 to buy laptop ( i had 57000.00 and actually i don't regret it) . After that she started making problems out of no where, she said if i don't work on her facebook page and all she'll take away my laptop for herself or her workers, even tho i bought it with my own money, when i said so, she said its her money cus she gave me that previous 3 millions, i told her she said its my money and i get to do whatever i want with it i left myself with nothing to wear for gods sake.

She said a lot of stuff but then i told her "you already took half of the money before, just don't return it and i'll give u the rest! I didn't hold accountable for u so why doing that for me I'M YOUR KID???!" anyways she folded, but that was the start.

A lot of problems, here and there.

Now here are the new rules:

For staying home, i need to do all chores, all of them.

Any other thing i may ever need, clothes, food in college time, bus money ( college bus doesn't pass on my house), even a bag for my stuff. My problem, i won't see a penny from her. I need to work for it myself. Get a job or whatever. She said that before i even turn 18 lol, and the problem is i'm still a minor in this country's laws lmaooo.

Btw, she takes monthly from the country helps 5000.00 DA from me as her daughter (Child support from my father) and another 10000.00 for keeping the roof over our heads, i never saw any of that money, never questioned it, cus for me she's my mom she's taking care of me (at the time) ofc i'm not gonna tell her to give it back.

On my birthday she wanted to play nice and told my siblings to ask what kind of cake i may want, i told them i don't need a 2000.00 DA cake when i don't have a goddamn shirt to wear.

In the morning of my birthday i told her i was getting out a bit.

She threw a 6000 da at me to buy clothes, but i didn't get tricked lol, i know that game. So i kept it away, didn't touch it.

Its been almost a week, she always doesn't leave any money in the house yet doesn't buy supplies like bread and stuff til the last minute and she's never home so when my siblings come hungry i need to buy them from my own money to eat, if i sent them back to school without lunch she may kill me, but i don't have much money, so i gave them, and told them to tell mom to give it back cus i desperatelly need it.

It was only 100.00 DA (3ashalaf), yet when i asked for it she said my money is her money cus where would i get 100 DA. I told her i didn't touch her 6000 at all its my own money, so she took it back and got so mad and hitted me. And now she's kinda kicking me out.

I regret not doing i9ama tbh..( college dorms)..

Any advices how to support myself..? Maybe to find somewhere to stay? Am i being dramatic?

Question What do you think of a guy that beaks up with a girl after an 8yrs relationship?

Imagine a guy that had been with the same girl for 8yrs, promised her marriage, had sex with her.
That girl stayed loyal to him and was in love with him the whole time, did nothing wrong never lied to him etc
And he still breaks up bc the relationship wasn’t perfect.

What would you think about someone like that ? What would you tell the girl ?

I’m the girl and I feel betrayed and abandoned, I thought I would have a future with him and he just left me

Culture / Art

Discussion Ouvrir une entreprise en algérie

Society Do such algerian men exist or am I delusional

23f here, Im lately drowning in work, organizing my stuff and trying to accumulate money. Although i have little to no time at all, I sometimes talk to people online to know more about my preferences so later on when I choose my partner I know I chose the right one. I have too much to say and I dont mind being judged cause at the end of the day to each their own preferences. But my type of man is quite impossible to find and what I mostly want is an algerian guy who shares the same ideologies as me ( i only find algerian men attractive and i want to make jokes in pur dialect lol), I am not religious and I don't want to marry a religious guy cause that would be a relationship so impossible to maintain. I want someone as ambitious as I am cause laziness or fully depending on the other partner is not it for me. I want someone who is willing to travel the world and be very excited to visit new places together and not complain about meticulous details or get angry easily but rather want to truly enjoy life thinking that being alive is the most beautiful gift. I am extremely positive so I wish for a positive partner. I also think its very important to have mutual interests, enjoying almost the same type of music and movies. I would love to support eachother and always make sure our mental health is very crucial and never betray or destroy our trust in eachother. Also I would really love to adopt orphans instead of giving birth cause I am afraid of postpartum and anything regarding giving birth yet I adore having kids which is another impossible thing to find a man totally agreeing on. Now after you all have read this. I know it may sound as a dm me svp lol yet i am truly in need to know if such ppl do exist and if algerian women who have almost the same preferences as me did succeed in finding one specially if they have no time for encountering. Thank you for your valuable time

Discussion Enceinte et déprimé merci de me cons

Any thoughts folk ?

Travel Name On Algerian Passport Does Not Match The One On UK passport

• Upvotes

Name On Algerian Passport Does Not Match The One On My UK passport.

When I was a kid my English mother made me change the name from an Algerian name to a British one. I recently got my Algerian passport and the name does not match the one in my British passport. I want to be able to travel between UK and Algeria, is there any way to get around the mismatch?

I've been told that it is theoretically possible to go into Tunisia with my UK passport and then cross into Algeria from there, and then when I want to go back to UK go back to Tunisia with my Algerian passport within the timeframe of the visa free time I would get on my UK passport. The only problem with this is that the system would show me overstaying the visa into Tunisia when I left for the UK.

Has anyone you know had this issue?

Question How do I get my driver's license after passing my driving exam?

• Upvotes

I recently passed my driving exam and got my temporary passing certificate ("ricipissi") and was wondering how the process to get my actual driver's license works from there. Do I have to take it to my local APC myself along with other documents to make the request for the license? If yes, what are all the documents I need?
