Welcome to this Week's Art/Creators Promo Megathread!
Here you can share examples of work and links to creator's profiles (including your own!) as long as it is not on a Meta owned platform (Instagram, Facebook etc.) or Twitter.
Let's help our community artists, authors, designers, craft makers, musicians, singers, sculptors, performers, streamers and any other kind of creator get recognised and celebrate the amazing creativity in our community!
A few quick rules:
The art/work they create does not have to be LGBTQ+ related, we're here to help any creator who is LGBTQ+ promote their profiles, particularly if they're trying to establish themselves on a different one with the recent social media drama!
Looking forward to discovering some new creators with you all!

After Brazilian President Lula defeated right-wing extremist FlƔvio Bolsonaro, who has openly expressed homophobic and transphobic views, he celebrated alongside several of his allies, including trans congresswoman Erika Hilton. Brazil also has a few other trans folks in congress. Thought it would be nice to share :)

It was loud. He wasnāt talking to me, but I was obviously close enough to hear - Iād made a couple of comments into their conversation already. They were talking about something heād just purchased and he said he didnāt have enough money to get both, but he wished heād gotten the one that had the bi flag colors. āWhy?ā says his friend. āWell, because I amā he says. āOh, I didnāt know that.ā And then they continue their conversation about shopping.
I sat there in shock trying SO hard not to react. I know my son. It doesnāt matter if itās a stubbed toe, an A on a test or a declaration of his sexuality - āitās not a big dealā is his motto in life. Plus, he didnāt say it to me. I wasnāt invited to comment.
But wow I wanted to. When I was his age even the most supportive of friends or family didnāt just move on with the conversation. Support always seemed to mean hugs and āI still love youā announcements. To hear this so casually accepted and set aside as less important to the conversation than what else they had purchased was justā¦. Wow.
Besides, heās heard my rant about feeling the need to say I still love you despite your sexuality - as if unconditional love suddenly could have had conditions. Now, I want to acknowledge that I heard him - but he hasnāt brought it up again and Iām not sure he wants me to. I donāt want to stay quiet if heās waiting for me to say somethingā¦. I donāt want to say something if heās hoping Iāll stay quiet. So, I bought the item he didnāt have enough money for⦠in the colors of the bi flag. I figure I will just let him know that I heard him say he wanted it⦠because he is⦠and let it go at that. Heāll know we can talk, but we donāt have to if he doesnāt want toā¦. Heāll know I heard him. I saw him. I accept him.
Iām so damned in awe of him and his generation. Thanks for listening folks. I could talk to the people I normally would without sharing what he said. Itās his to tell, if he wants to tell it. But it was so big that I had to share with someone!

I recently added a Genderfluid flag at my computer work station at my job. Feels complete now. š
The two flags I normally would prefer to have are either the progress pride flag or rainbow pride flag, and then the trans flag. But feeling specially connected to genderfluidity, I think its cool.

Hinson also praised a federal judgeās ruling in Kentucky that blocked Democratic President Joe Bidenās effort to expand protections for transgender students and make other changes to the rules governing sex discrimination in schools by expanding the definition of Title IX to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity.

I donāt know if this is the right place to post this, but I hope it is.
I got a wife and two kids. A while back, I started feeling like crap and wasnāt satisfied with my life. It got bad enough that my doctor told me I had blood pressure problems and put me on blood pressure medication. I donāt know if that had anything to do with what happened next.
Thatās when everything started going downhill. I began feeling attracted to men, more than before. One early morning at work, I met a security guard. We got to talking, then he kissed me, and next thing you know, we were in a car fooling around and giving each other head. Unfortunately, my bossās daughterās boyfriend saw the whole thing.
I started going to gay bars, dressing up in leather gear. One night, while I was dancing, I ran into a friend of my coworkers who just happened to be there.
I was terrified that sooner or later somebody was gonna out me. I work for a waste disposal company, so my coworkers are pretty old-school and narrow-minded, if you catch my drift.
Not knowing what the hell else to do, I told my wife I had to leave town for a long work assignment in another city.
So I basically moved out there. While I was in the new city, the people whoād seen me started spreading the word, and now everybody knows. My coworkers took it real bad, and so did my boss. If I go back, I could lose my job.
My brother-in-law took it even worse. He talked to my wife and told her I wasnāt gonna get away with it if I ever came back.
Now, Iāve met a guy here, a firefighter. I donāt know if Iām in love with him or what, but I spend the night at his place pretty often.
So what would you guys do in my position? Start a new life here and leave my family and job behind, or go back and face my brother-in-law and my coworkers?
