Hi everyone, Im not sure if this is the sub for this but I recently got a switch to mod smash since there are so many amazing moveset mods now. I am on the most recent path but cant get any modded movesets to work. My game crashes on startup. I've installed all the plugins right as far as I can tell but still nothing.

Subjective opinion of the buff/nerf each character gets when playing them online, how it feels, how much more often I win, relative to offline. Wifi ness buff is a real thing

I’ve had multiple game losses because I went off stage for a combo or edgeguard and then my DOCKED JOYCONS disconnect sending me into the void, does anyone know why this happens cuz I’m getting pretty sick of it

I've seen ppl pmlging w steve and ik it's banned in tournament play but I'd still like tkh to do it

For competitive matches, no problem. These tend to be 1v1s with no items and on somewhat simple terrain with no hazards. The netcode can manage that with no issue.

But for casual matches, we have stuff like free for alls, items and stages that are less straightforward and have some hazards that almost change how you play in there.

Because very few games have Smash' level of casual appeal, we have to use an actual Smash game as reference, so we'll use Slippi's party mode for Melee.

Frame stuttering is a thing in that mode, and the overall workload is quite higher than competitive matches, so to minimize it, they fixed the ruleset somewhat for casual.

That doesn't seem so bad, but just like people hated when Smash 4 For Glory didn't gave competitors more versatility, this approach might do the same for casual.

It wouldn't surprise me if rollback's difficulty of implementation for casual play was the thing keeping it from being implemented officially for Smash at all

But I feel like it has to happen still...pretty much every fighting game nowdays has rollback...if Smash uses P2P yet again...people would complain it's outdated on arrival.

Rollback is pretty much the one thing needed to prevent a laggy experience online, which, pretty much everyone suffers (unless you're using that delay based mod).

I am new to playing smash and i have started to use game and watch. I am pretty good at using some moves like the up b the chef for edge guarding and the key smash down but i am having trouble landing combos and dealing good damage. How can i use my other moves better. PS: I also dont know how to use grabs or tilts very well yet and all I use are specials and smash attacks.
