This one’s more simple than the last look I posted.
I’ve been doing makeup for 3 weeks now and still struggling a bit. Especially with eyeliners. I really want to create looks with more striking eyeliner shapes but I haven’t found the courage yet. I find it hard to get both sides to look symmetrical.

Although my background in painting helps, doing it on my face is quite different and I have a lot to learn. It feels kind of like when I work with Pan Pastels though :3

Hi,
I saw so much online about the Hourglass Ambient lighting palates. I got the Diffused light one. It does absolutely nothing. It was so expensive and I am very disappointed. Has anyone tried this?

Edit: why are people so angry at me? I never said it was a bad product, I said it hasn’t worked for me or made any difference in my makeup. I am using it as intended, I am not stupid and I did plenty of research before I bought it given it was expensive. I thought this was supposed to be a helpful community.

if it looks familiar i followed a pinterest ref, haha!! i just bought my first colorful palette so i reeeaally wanted to try something funky. this reminded me of lisa frank so much that i almost wanted to add little animal prints!! but i didnt trust my skills that much, especially considering my eyes are hooded haha.

This is a makeup look from last year (I think), I’ve been thinking of coming up with a new look for this year but I’m not too sure what I should go for. I’m open to ideas, specially creative and unique ones!!

PS: I love mostly colorful looks, anything that looks like an exotic bird or soft pastel like a mermaid. I usually wear dark looks, so go my birthdays or special occasions I like to go for something outside the box.

By the end of the day, my makeup is so cakey and is literally peeling off. Am I using too much setting powder maybe? How do I stop this from happening? After I put it on in the morning, it looks fine but by the end of the day it looks like this.

I’ll go first. As a black woman, I think using concealer 4 shades lighter than your foundation to achieve “bright undereyes” looks so makeupy and unnatural, and it’s always so yellow too. I only use concealer that’s actually my shade.

I want to try shades “desire,” “impulse,” and “haze.” If you have these or have swatches of them, please let me know your opinions! It’s a much higher price point than I usually go for so I want to make sure I’m all in before I drop the money on it!

Used a Juvias Place palette that I destroyed to put on a magnetic palette. But it's just a shimmery purple, black, and chunky glitter eyeshadow! Lashes are from Amazon and finished with nyx buttermelt blush and a tinted chapstick from Daiso! Lashes are manga lash from Amazon!

I got shade matched to MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC10! You can barely see it under my jaw!!! It’s a great match!! I’ve got other close matches in my collection but not like this.

Yes my neck is very dry 😂 It’s hot af here and I’m working on it with skincare!

I was looking into the Clio eyeshadow palettes, and these interested me. They seem to have very similar color stories based on online photos.

Does anyone have in-person experience with these palettes? What are the differences between them?

I am fair, cool, and somewhat muted, and I’m looking for a palette for everyday wear.

Also, having issues recognizing my undertone, am I really neutral? Even knowing that, "neutral" foundations" always lean to something, cool or warm, so idk which one I'm more leaning😭

I was told I'm a muted neutral olive

I'm currently using shade 102 Shell Beige (neutral) on the L'Oréal pro-matte foundation, mixed with (since it's too light on me) Catrice concelear True Skin 032 Neutral Biscuit, I think this one is closer to my skin tone but a little bit darker, I mix both.

I want to order online the tower 28 new foundation since is made for acne prone skin, but I can't decide my shade.

Also, I wonder if it's actually worth it.

there’s this gorgeous color (maybelline single eyeshadow in the vanilla shade) and anytime i use it, it gets everywhere besides my lid. it gets under my eyes, on nose. but then again im not the biggest eyeshadow person so im not sure if its a common thing to happen or not. but it makes it hard to use for everyday wear. what’s the best brands, single eyeshadows, palettes you’d recommend for high end eyeshadow quality but a drugstore price? (i have no specific color in mind either, cause if its a good brand i’ll probably buy different colors) 🤍
