I'm 25, have no friends, and haven't dated since HS. I work, have odd hours 11am to 8pm, take care of my mom, and I'm starting to feel very lonely.

I have coworkers that have friends and they always mention hiking groups, and such via apps and that in person stuff is not much of a thing.

Where do I find people online of people around my age to hangout with and do activities and get my foot in the door?

I am a 36 year old woman looking to connect with others who enjoy crafting, reading, museums, coffee shops, movie nights and other cozy and boring activities. I have also recently been getting a little more into video games. Recently played Night Shift, Murder House, and Dreamlight Valley lol. I love horror, weird fiction and thrifting. Love crappy old horror films and Italian Giallo films. Love rainy weather and learning random useless facts. The California heat makes me turn into She Hulk.

My ideal day is to lay around like a slug all morning, take a walk with my pup, craft at a cute coffee shop, then watch a scary movie or check out some unique museum exhibits.

I have a bitchy little cat and a small shepherd mix and would be down to meet up at the park to do some crafts or have a doggy playdate. My schedule is a bit tough but i am available most Saturdays and all Mondays.

Hi there. I just got a large (6ft x 6 ft) handmade quilt as a gift. The quilter is in Michigan and sent it a bit early to get to me by my anniversary today. It’s great. But, it needs finishing. I was told it’s called “finishing” because if we wash it like this the layers would separate because they shrink in different ways in the wash. It might be called long arm quilting, based on one website. Essentially it’s when a pattern of stitching goes all over the quilt to keep it all together. Anywho, does anyone know who might be able to do this for us? Thanks.

Hello neighbors, I recently found a very old 1lb propane tank that I am looking to dispose of (does not feel empty, but is probably 20 years old). I have been looking around and calling and no one will take them despite their name coming up in Google search (such as Ace hardware and some recycle centers).

I know S.A.F.E. centers will take them, but their limited hours are difficult. Anywhere else that will take them?

How come once it gets past 11pm or so, all the traffic lights between Sepulveda and Van nuys pulse yellow instead of being green?

Ive always found it weird and wondered what the point was.

In otherwirds instead of the light turning green, then yellow then red, the light blinks yellow the whole time and then turns red.

Hi 👋 there was an event for the past few years in Sylmar at El Cariso Park called Barktober where people could bring pets for free resources and they had a petting zoo and a resource fair. I used to work a stall there but I left that job and I followed the event last year but I dont see anything dor it this year? I was hoping to bring my little one this year and be an attendant but I cant find any info on it. Was it canceled?
