uj/ Dear community members of r/SoccerCircleJerk we MODs finally found out who was the culprit that removed Barca related posts

Intro

So... After hours of deliberation and mod discussion. We checked our Mod Log and found out that you guys were the one who removed the posts related to Barca. Let me explain.

Automod

So... since we have millions and millions of visitors coming to our subreddit everyday, we kinda use Automod to help us filter comments, posts, and other stuff according to some of the smarter moderators settings.

Removal of Posts Based on Number of Reports

When a certain number of reports are given to a certain post or comment, automod automatically removes them. What's the number of reports that will trigger automod? Well... We decided not to tell you all so things like this won't happen again. We kinda tinker with the number already so things like this won't repeat.

What I can share is that the posts/comments that were removed received a lot.. and I mean A LOT of reports to then trigger automod to take action.. So.. it was the community members themselves who removed the Barca posts from our subreddit..

Don't Crucify the Messenger

Okay, as the lowest ranked mod, I am sent to be the PR person for this issue. I hope that things has been clarified and we could all continue to jerk again as per usual. We duly apologize for the misunderstandings, missing the golden jerking opportunity where Barca lost to RM, posts/comments removed via community report, and the confusion among community members.

Of course, you guys have the freedom of speech to speculate, question more, doubt this post, and so on. But, kindly adhere to our sets of rules listed at our right-hand-side widget (for PC users).
