Where can i find good items for a good price? I'm looking to get more into the milsim side or just airsoft in general. Currently im just looking on ebay, fb marketplace and vinted.
Yesterday, after around two months, I finally tested out my GBBR M4 for the first time. At first, all was good, until the gun started jamming (and I would have to cock the handle just to reload, meven in semi and full auto mode). Currently, I don’t have plans to use it anymore until next year or when it’s warm sometime. I want to get another airsoft gun and convert it into a C7A2. I would like to know if I should get another GBBR or if I should get an AEG. Any tips or suggestions is appreciate. Thanks in advance
The stock screw holding the BBH is made of very soft metal, and the piston itself is aluminum. If you apply even slightly too much torque, the piston threads will strip instantly. Due to the violent recoil of the SSP5, this screw can eventually fail, causing the entire blowback housing to shoot backward toward the user's face. It is a serious safety concern.
💡 The Fix: Thread Reinforcement & M3 Steel Screw
.
Reinforce the Piston Threads: Use either a Heli-Coil or a Quick Insert to create strong, durable metal threads inside the aluminum piston.
Upgrade the Screw: Replace the stock screw with a thicker and longer M3 x 6mm steel screw. (Note: If you use an M3 screw that is the same length as the stock one, the Heli-Coil will fail or lose its grip. You must use the 6mm.)
The Threadlocker: For high-stress areas like this, Loctite 243 is too weak. Use Loctite 263. Crucially, you must completely degrease and remove any oil before applying it to get a proper bond. With the M3 steel setup and Loctite 263, it will not come loose during operation, but you can still unscrew it easily for maintenance without needing to heat it up.
⚠️ Known Issue 4: Rear Sight Play causing BBH Movement
Over time, microscopic play develops between the rear slide and the rear sight. Because the fitment isn't perfectly tight, the constant recoil inflicts structural fatigue on the mounting area.
This issue does not affect your accuracy or shot consistency. However, the accumulated impact fatigue will eventually cause the entire blowback housing (BBH) to slightly move back and forth.
💡 The Fix: Bedding with Heavy-Duty Epoxy (Optional)
Since this requires a permanent bond, this fix is completely optional and up to your personal choice.
Apply a thin layer of heavy-duty epoxy between the rear slide and the rear sight seating area to fill the microscopic gaps completely.
This stops the rear sight from wobbling and absorbs the impact fatigue, preventing the BBH from shifting.
Important Technical Notes & Summary
Screw Length Matters: If you use an M3 screw that is the same length as the stock one, the Heli-Coil can break or lose its holding power. That’s why a longer M3 x 6mm screw is mandatory.
DitchLoctite 243: For high-stress areas on Novritsch guns, Loctite 243 is simply too weak. You must use Loctite 263, and crucially, you must completely degrease/remove any oil before applying it to get a proper bond.
Don't Trust Airsoft Springs: Do not 100% trust the tension ratings advertised by airsoft upgrade brands. I personally measured several "200% upgraded springs" from Guarder and other brands, only to find they were identical to stock or nowhere near 200%.
My Advice: If you have the ability, either make your own springs or measure the wire diameter (선경) and outer diameter (외경) to buy industrial-grade springs. They are much cheaper and will vastly improve your teching skills.
🏁 Conclusion
Many users were surprised or worried when I mentioned running 400 PSI HPA.
To be clear: I did not do this to show off. I used 400 PSI as a harsh stress-test to verify whether my custom fixes could actually withstand extreme abuse. Instead of making blind claims with zero proof, I wanted to share these methods only after confirming that the gun could survive thousands of rounds under extreme pressure. It was purely about proving the reliability of the fixes.
This will be my final post on the SSP5, and I do not plan on uploading any further guides. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. Thank you all for reading.
Lastly, I hope the team at Novritsch looks at this post to understand what real users are struggling with and how we are fixing these issues to improve the product. I will not discuss the design or problems of Novritsch products any further.

This was my first big sewing project, using my grandmothers sewing machine and a friends indusrial sewing machine. It took me about a month from start to finish. Taking measurements, coming up with cutting plans, seam allowance, cutting and assembling. Having the final product in hand fills me with great joy!
The cloned "template" is a ukrainian sputnik gear SB-K buttpack:
My brother a complete selous LBE from sputnik gear and i kinda fell in love with its buttpack. Thats when i decided to make it my project. I used a rubberized olive green fabric for a structural base and on the i outside i used a brown/ranger green parka fabric i had saved up from an old parka jacket. Straps and buckles i had saved up from old backpacks but i also need to purchase extra from amazon for the Molle loops.
I got a well ak74 and added some engraving but idk what to do now :/ I want to make it seem more modern but I can’t find any aftermarket parts to put for it😭 if anyone has any suggestions on what I can add or links that’d be great pls✌️
(I HAD A POST BEFORE THIS AND HAD TO FIX IT UP. I made a mistake and didnt know it would portray in a different way. I’m sorry if it offended anyone and I won’t ever make a mistake like that ever again. It was immature of me).
Hey guys, first gun buyer here. Done a number of rental runs now, and I've gotten to experience a Raven Neo and a Specna CORE DD18. Enjoyed both, but now I'm looking down the proverbial barrel of a first gun purchase. These are the two options at my immediate interest and disposal. Looking for something that'll handle the wear and tear of weekend gaming indoor and outdoor, both internally and externally.
I would like a metal handguard, and the polymer on the Raven receiver seemed to be sturdy. My local field owners swear by Ravens because of the body toughness. The Specnas have a very attractive budget though, coming in a touch cheaper than Ravens.
Assuming the only difference is their sector gear, sr25 have 19T to accommodate the longer piston.
I have this JVAN Sr25 gearset, it was suppose for my g28, but i sold my E&C 204 g28. I was thinking it were possible to use this set to my m4 aeg? And just need to cut some gears on the sector gear.
