My experience early voting
Went to vote at the sub courthouse at 10:30 am- no wait. Seems like a good time to go if anyone has been thinking about it š

Let's try this again. The previous server had a decent amount of users but very little engagement.
I just finished the initial setup of a new server, figured I'd go ahead and share the invite. If you have any issues with the onboarding process or permissions, just drop me a message.

Hiya!
Is it worth driving out for the market? We are probably headed to canton for trade days the first weekend of December and were wondering if making a day of the Christkindl Market would be worth it.
Thanks!

There are over 400,000 people living in Arlington, including a large university population. Why in the world donāt we have a Trader Joeās? Weāre the perfect city for it! Send them an email letting them know! Request a Trader Joeās in Arlington, TX
Will it work? Who knows. It definitely wonāt if we donāt try.š

I'll be moving from England to Arlington next year. Here in England, pretty much all supermarkets have good share of organic fruits and vegs, and healthier meal choices in general.
I'm looking for similar shops in Arlington, where I can buy healthy nutritious grocery plus healthy meals.

Moving to Arlington Tx and will arrive November 1st around 5pm.
Looking for two people to help me unload my trailer into my apartment. 90% of my belongings are in plastic containers or boxes. Only about 5 pieces of heavy furniture: a coffee table, a desk, a very very light safe, tv stand and TV. Virtually everything is packed.
No need for set up. Just moving into the apartment. Finding a spot for jr and leaving it. Iāll unpack and assembled everything on my end.
Just a 6x12 trailer. Should take no more than one hour/ 90 mins.
Looking for two people. Will pay 75/cash (negotiable) each person and dinner and drinks on me afterwards because I need to make friends.
Holler if interested =]

Went to vote at the sub courthouse and the train made it quit the adventure.
Seems like having pd direct traffic at the west street intersections could really improve the efficiency. The light schedule is not optimized for the amount of traffic the stoppages cause.

Anyone else planning to go?

Petland just opened in Arlington. They are notoriously awful. They have had managers arrested for animal cruelty, been sued for selling sick puppies and are routinely linked to puppy mills. They have two smaller competitors, Puppy Dreams and Petito. Well guess what? All 3 have just recently opened stores here.
I post this as a consumer warning. All three of those companies have been proven to use puppy mills and all three have been accused of selling sick puppies to unsuspecting families.
The Texas House of Reps voted to ban the sale of puppies in pet stores a few years ago. That bill didn't pass the Senate. I hope it gets done in 2027.
About 18 Texas cities banned the sale of puppies in stores, but the legislature took away the right of city councils to do much of anything that regulates businesses anymore, so local ordinances will not protect us.
Here are links to prove what I am saying.

I live close to UTA, and I donāt like long drives, so somewhere within 15 minutes is my preference.
I can make exceptions though for a well reviewed therapist up to 30 minutes away, Iāll make the drive and then transition to virtual appointments if I donāt feel like making the drive
I have depression, anxiety, and need guidance to get my life back on track. If you know of anyone who can help, Iād appreciate it. Thanks!

So I missed the deadline for the Fort Worth Zoo - Boo at the Zoo Pumpkin Contest. I put the deadline on my calendar for 10/17, not 10/16. And now I have a really awesome pumpkin and nowhere to enter it!
Does anyone know of any non-carving pumpkin decorating contests in DFW?
***The whole setup is Wile E Coyote with Roadrunner standing on his head, but I don't have a final picture. This is the most recent progress pic I took

Hey guys! Iāve been meaning to get my hair cut, but sometimes itās hard to find a stylist that knows how to cut curly hair well. Especially as a dude, a lot of the ācurly hair specialistsā seem moreso targeted towards women so I worry they might not have as much experience cutting the hair of a curly haired guy (idk if thatās a dumb assumption)
That being said, are there any good barbers nearby for curly haired men?
