I've struggled with money my whole life and haven't been able to find a stable job. I've also been through a lot of emotional trauma from relationships and family issues. I'm a very emotional person who gets deeply attached to people, and all these experiences have left me afraid to trust others. Since 2014, I feel like my life hasn't improved at all. Instead, things have only gotten worse. And It got worsen from 2022 until now. Right now, I desperately need to make some money, even just a few hundred dollars a month, to cover my basic living expenses. I'm feeling really lost and don't know what to do anymore. Could someone please take the time to read my situation and help me? I would truly appreciate it.

Hi! I'm a performance artist and singer. I also work in film (set design, costumes, props, mkp). Over the last decade I worked in administrative roles but I hated it. I need to find a way to make a living off of my talents, because non-artistic work is killing my soul.

Building a social media presence is the biggest challenge for me. I'm a likeable person but I suffer from crippling social anxiety due to trauma.

I don't know which side of myself I should show, because I have many faces/characters, and I know I should focus on one side (finding a voice for my personal brand, building a niche and all that jazz). I'm way too eclectic so it ends up coming off as a mess.

I also have a hard time finding balance between isolating and over-sharing, and my art tends to be quite personal, so most times I don't record or post my performances. I'm not scared of being vulnerable, but I am scared of being preyed on or becoming a lolcow, since it has happened before.
