Saw someone on Facebook wanting to sell/trade Bloodborne complete guide 25th anniversary edition so I gave them Expedition 33 and Cyberpunk 2077 for it. I finished the game including the dlc like 2 times but I will still use it for my next playthrough(especially regarding the chalice dungeons which I haven't done fully).

Btw this book is so heavy and tall that I don't have any bookshelves where I can put it vertically which is a slight minus, but other than that I really like it(even the Doll is enjoying reading about herself).

Help Looking for help getting my final Bloodborne achievement, (killing the chalice boss)

This is my second playthrough of Bloodborne, in my first I did the secret ending, however I didn’t have the dlc, and never found cainhurst
So this second playthrough was designed to complete those two things, I decided to do an arcane build, because I’ve never seen a YouTuber do it and I’ve never used a hunter tools in my life.

This led me to getting every weapon and hunter tool, through completing the things I missed and doing an arcane build, and therefore I had every trophy except the ending ones, and therefor one for killing a boss in the chalice dungeons.

Because I was so close, I decided to save scum the other endings (also giving me the burial blade), and therefore the only achievement I need is the chalice boss, but I have no idea how to go about it, I’ve done basically no chalice dungeons ever, except to get specific items, like the uncanny beast claws and some runes (which I looked up a guide to get)

I have no idea where to get the items needed for chalices, or which chalices I need to do and how far into them I would need to go,
If y’all could either write a step by step guide, or if you have a good recommendation with an easy to understand guide, that would be lovely, when looking it up, I’ve been overloaded with information, and people seem to use the names of chalices, of which I have no reference, and get confused

Question New character build recommendations

I've made a build dedicated to every single weapon in the game at one point or another. I'm getting that bloodborne itch once again. However, I'm not sure what build to run this time. Please suggest 2 complimentary weapons and sidearms, and I will do my best to make that build.

Help Holy moonlight greatsword help

I recently got the normal holy moonlight greatsword but compared to my lucwig holy sword with lighting gems it kinda sucks so I'm searching for glyphs where I can get good gems easy there is a but tho, I haven't really dwelled much in chalice exploring ao I only have the calice dropped by blood starved beast and the amygdala one, I would like to finish some stuff before going deeper so my challenge is finding relatively good gems for the mean while. If you have any glyphs or tips and suggestions I'm open (also to changing to another version of the weapon)

Question Is there a way to get to Yarahgul before killing Rom, without killing BSB?

Hi there,

I'm attempting a run where I'd like to enter Old Yharnam through the back door (aka the Pearl door), to see what happens if you get to Djura without ever entering the Old Yharnam through the main door (not even opening it).

So far it's going pretty well, and I just put Amelia to rest, after she unfortunately succumbed to the infection, and made my way to the Forbidden Woods. But, before going in there, i'd like to go to Yarahgul, just to get some echoes and because i like the area honestly (even though my fav one is after Rom but still).

I didn't quite remember how to get the kidnappers to spawn, and thought they just would after Amelia, but they didn't.

I don't really know why but I was pretty sure it was about insight 😅

Seems it's about killing BSB, after some research, and i don't really get why either, since all BSB drop is Chalices stuff? (And a bloodgem I believe?).

Do any of you know anything about that? Any insight (i will be really careful with it 🫡) might help!

Thank you for reading! And be careful out there, it is a pretty long night~

Discussion I finally finished bloodborne whit dlc Spoiler

So i finally decided to replay and finish the game, i always hated it, bit after bearing vicar Amelia it clicked, here are the best parts for me:

The setting, going to victorian style, to cosmic horror was really awesome.

Some bosses, like lady maria, orphan of kos, blood starved beast even ebrietas they were all phenomenal.

The wrapons i used saw cleaver until i got the round chainsaw in the dlc, but i have experimented whit the hammer.

I parried lady maria four times in a row that felt good even if i died at her third phase shortly after.

The things i disliked:

Moon presence was really easy, i only had 8 vials after gherman, and i melted it, just a bigger slightly faster amygdala.

Laurence was ass, the only boss i didn't beat.

The fishman village, ot combines areas packed whit enemies whit empty areas were you just walk.

Vials sistem, it was ok after the witches, and i first or second tried most bosses (i died to the tiny guys before ebrietas too) and in the dlc there is a farming enemy before ludwig.

Orphan of kos placenta yo yo attack, really goofy for a serious boss like this.

In the end i started the game hating it (it was my fifth try at the game) and ended up loving it, i even bought the dlc before the final boss, i was lucky it was half price too, next one is sekiro.

Discussion Are there anymore improvements? I heard that a 24.8/15 in the 2nd slot would be better than a 27.2

Discussion Mergo's Wet Nurse Slain

First try on Mergo's Wet Nurse! Truly I didn't expect that! The shadow phase had me running around like a chicken with his head cut off lol but it was so much fun! I'm at the point now where I can honestly say I feel like I'm really improving at this game! From 5ish attempts on cleric beast to beating the last few bosses 1st try.

I guess my next question is, should I start DLC now? I tried Ludwig a few times and got smacked so I decided I'd come back to it later, but I feel more ready now. Am I just being cocky, or is it about time that just people progress the DLC now?

Discussion Bloodborne’s atmosphere is still unmatched, even after all these years

Even after all these years, Bloodborne still feels like something truly unique. Its atmosphere is incredible: dark, mysterious, unsettling, and yet incredibly captivating.
There’s something special about its world, its environments, and the way it tells its story. Even today, it still manages to draw you in and make you feel like you’re experiencing something unlike any other game.
Bloodborne has a soul of its own, and very few games have ever come close to capturing that same feeling.

Guide BB Complete walkthrough

After doing my first playthrough blind, I now wish to do a fully guided playthrough where I do every single quest or reach one of multiple quest endings, every npc interaction and so on and so on.

Does anyone have a suggestion as what to use for a guide like this?

Guide Started a new game to play DLC, 2nd playthrough- I have some questions about progression for those inclined and knowledgeable. I’m in Cathedral Ward and Old Yarnham. I’m unclear on my options.

Ok so I wanna do all the NPC quests and get the umbilical cords again. I’m in Cathedral Ward, talked to Alfred, opened all those gates but haven’t faced boss in Grand Cathedral.

I also went to Old Yarnham but I wanna have the gatling gun guy be my friend. Also got the music box and sent young lady to cathedral and got her cloth off the boar. So I guess i’m asking do I just beat grand cathedral boss then trigger night or something? Is that logical next step to get to Old Yarnham through the back? Thanks for reading, pleasant tidings to you all.

Edit: this community is lovely, much thanks for the replies, I got the info I needed

Chalice Hey does anyone have any tips on Abhorent Beast?

Usually I'm pretty good at this game. I don't have many issues but I'm using the Kirkhammer STR build and literally this dude is destroying me. I've used multiple tactics like being patient and getting literally 1 hit and dodging out. I've defeated him on other characters but just never seems to stop attacking.

He's always swinging. All of my dodges aren't really working.

It's been a while since I've played the game but I've been pretty active on my characters the past 2 months.

This MF though is absolutely wrecking my ass when I wreck every other boss including Chalice Rom and Abygdla.

But this thing.....I just need a suggestion on a strat or which way I should dodge or fire paper or literally any tips.

Went to an Arcade and Record Store yesterday and found these Vinyl Albums, the store is so cool with pinball machines and free arcade games ( pinball games still take tokens but they are relatively cheap to buy).

Also found onThe Yetee website.

Edit: wow this is blowing up real fast

Question Should Bloodborne be my next Souls game?

I’m pretty new to Souls games, even though I’ve been playing video games for around 24 years. Elden Ring was my first FromSoftware game, and I recently finished the base game.

After that, I asked some friends who have been playing Souls games for years what I should try next. Bloodborne is the one I’m most interested in, but they told me it’s much harder than Elden Ring and that I should probably play something else first, like Demon’s Souls.

So now I’m trying to figure out if Elden Ring actually prepared me enough for Bloodborne.

I played through Elden Ring without Spirit Ashes. I didn’t have too much trouble with most of the mandatory bosses, and I also fought most of the optional and field bosses I came across.Malenia was the only boss that gave me a really hard time, but I eventually managed to beat her.

I enjoy challenging games and I don’t mind dying a lot if I feel like I’m learning and getting better. I just don’t want the difficulty to feel unreasonable or frustrating for no reason.

For people who have played both, do you think I’m ready for Bloodborne, or would it make more sense to play Demon’s Souls or another Souls game first?

Help [SFX Request] Looking for a high-quality audio file (MP3/WAV) of the Hunter Pistol sound effect

Hi everyone! I'm currently working on a video edit and I'm desperately looking for a clean, high-quality sound effect (MP3 or WAV) of the Hunter Pistol firing. Most of the versions I've found online either have background music, boss roars, or muffled game audio that makes it hard to use for editing. Does anyone happen to have the extracted game audio files, or know a reliable source where I can get a clean version of this sound? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in

PVP Pvp still active?

Was wandering around the nightmare frontier and got invaded by someone, like a live someone, not an npc. twice. Wth? Should I switch to offline while I try to complete the game or is this abnormal? I assumed pvp would be dead on a game this old. (I lost both fights lolz)
