Discussion Scal hints that Jaylen Demanded a trade

On the starting line up Pod Scal said Jaylen came to the org with a list of demands, tried to push his way to Milwaukee. Talked to other teammates about it how they'd feel about going to Milwaukee.

I don't think I can link Twitter links here, but it's at like an 1:14:00 in the podcast.

Edit: starts at 1:14:15

Pritchard was shocked, like anyone would be if they saw Iverson staring at them.

Fluff Ray Allen

I’m sick of the dominant story being the only story. Here’s something I’m grateful for.

RAY ALLEN! Having Ray back in the garden was great. I’m so glad we mended these fences. He’s a Boston champion and he deserves a hero’s welcome every time he comes home.

I'm not posting the footage. It's gruesome. Immediately got Gordon Hayward and Shaun Livingston flashbacks.

Truly feel bad for him.

Discussion Jaylen Brown on Tatum saying there’s no beef: “He’s got a great PR team. There’s no beef, but there might be a little lamb chops with some gravy.”

Reporter: "Jayson Tatum was asked about you and he had a long response about your guys' relationship. Do you have any comment, did you see what he said or any comment on what he said?"

Jaylen: "I didn't see the full thing. But I saw that he said it's no beef, and I think he's right. There's no beef, you know, Jayson comes from a wonderful family. Um, we've accomplished some great things, he's a hell of a basketball player. He got a great PR team. Um, there's no beef, but you know, it might be a little lamb chops. With some gravy, you know what I mean? Just stay ready at all times."

Reporter: "Why do you, why do you, why do you say that?"

Jaylen: "Just, you know, that's what it is. No beef. It should never, ever be that, it's just basketball. We both blessed. But it might be a little lamb chop. We'll be aight."

Reporter: "And I guess, I guess he did say that he would like to have a conversation with you. I guess like are you willing to have one with him and..."

Jaylen: "It's, it's, we we both got so much stuff in front of us. Yeah, so, you know, at the end of the day, we both, you gotta do what you gotta do for his team, I gotta do what I do for my team. Like Jayson's a great guy, like I said, great family, hell of a basketball player, hell of a PR team, there's no beef, but you know, it'll be a little lamb chop."

Reporter: "But when you commented on his post the other night, were you suggesting that his version of events were untruthful?"

Jaylen: "Hey look, like I said, there's no beef. You know, you know, the PR and all that type stuff is, it is what it is, but I think we just both focus on what's in front of us."

Discussion Post Championship Injuries

Does the JDUB injury for OKC have shades of the Tatum Achilles injury to anyone else? Obviously Tatum is a bigger piece to the Celtics than jdub to the thunder but a big season ending injury to a recent championship team which the whole future ahead of them.

Crazy how quick a wide open championship window can turn so bleak after a freak injury.

Curious if this completely takes OKC out of the contender conversions out of the west

Discussion What is Joe Mazzulla’s rotation telling us after two games?

Thumbnail

I know, it’s been two games. Joe could make this entire article look stupid by Tuesday.

Still, there are some interesting early clues. Pritchard is fourth on the team in minutes despite coming off the bench. Hauser feels like he’s reclaimed a solid spot in the rotation. Walsh and Baylor are getting real run, while Hugo has played just 13 minutes.

Curious what’s stood out to everyone else so far.

Discussion Tatum gets the most hate but, am I the only one that thinks Jaylen brown is being the asshole & not him?

If the roles was reversed, and JB talked about Tatum leaving being in shock etc, and Tatum posted "🧢”, he'd be getting called fake asf, a
weirdo and an asshole

Tatum is not on that public beef bullshit, he said we both pushing 30 im not arguing with you online call me in private if you got a problem with me I have no issues with you

And Tatum is supposedly the biggest asshole out of the 2?? No way. Considering how Jaylen brown gives this mature and intelligent persona, I wouldn't assume him being the one commenting immature comments under Instagram posts

What a smart defender. Like a taller Jrue Holiday.

Not as harassing but taller and just as positionally sound with strong anticipation skills.

Discussion Small sample size but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Paul George so far this season. 27/6/3 on 50/53/88 splits to go along with 7 total steals in just 2 games. Dude is out there hustling 🫡

Discussion Celtics fans, what do you think of Cooper Flagg? Could you see him playing in Boston someday?

I'm curious what Celtics fans think about Cooper Flagg.

Obviously, he's still very young and has a long career ahead of him, but given his New England roots and the fact that he grew up a Celtics fan, I've always wondered if he might end up playing in Boston someday.

What do you guys think of his potential? Do you see him becoming a superstar in the league?

And realistically, do you think there's any chance he could wear a Celtics jersey at some point in his career? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Discussion Beating the Knicks at their own game was the plan this entire off-season and we proved it in game 2 of the season

  • 2025-2026 Knicks Ranked #2 in creating shot opportunities and won Championship
  • 2025-2026 Pistons Ranked #1 in creating shot opportunities and won 1st seed
  • 2025-2026 Robinson Ranked #1 in league in creating shot opportunities
  • Last night Robinson led our team in creating shot opportunties (+4.6/100)
    • While not providing them for the Knicks
  • Last night we +5 / 100 the Knicks in creating shot opportunties and won by a couple possessions

We mathed this win out during the off-season.

Discussion Pritchard vs good teams narrative

Edit: god damn man I’m honestly a bit surprised by the hate boner this sub has for PP. so much negativity around here it’s crazy

There is this narrative that I’ve been seeing pushed more and more lately that Pritchard sucks against good teams and only goes off against bad teams. And since he is off to a slow start this season I’m seeing it pushed in a ton of threads. So I thought it’s time to shut that bullshit down with some actual evidence. In literally 5 minutes I’ve found 7 counter examples, only going back to last year. So I wanted to start this thread and have you guys add more down in the comments (because I know for sure there are more, this is a BS narrative that is being pushed by people that have no idea what they’re talking about).

Pritchard is indeed inconsistent and that’s probably his biggest weakness. But it has nothing to do with playing good teams vs bad teams, he just has off games sometimes. Hes proven plenty of times he can step up against good teams, so here you go, enjoy:
