Hey everyone!

I'm working on my game for a while now and I'm happy to announce that the demo is live! The demo is around 10-15 minutes long and inspired by the Betty and Barney Hill Incident. If your interested and want to give the demo a try I'll link the steam page below.

Thanks to everyone for their support with the project!

I wanted to make a King Paimon staff for my nephew’s Halloween costume (he’s going as King Paimon and loves the movie Hereditary).

I’ve never carved anything before. I didn’t even know what I was doing when I grabbed a chunk of fallen white oak from my back yard and started picking away.

Pretty quickly I started being surprised at how easily this began taking shape, and felt almost like it was asking me where to remove material.

But as I made more progress, it started to feel more like it was TELLING me, and not asking me, where to carve next.

Toward the end, I felt like I was being pushed to finish it, almost like it was angry at me for doing anything else.

To clarify, I can’t draw. I can’t carve or sculpt.

I’m telling you, this hand WANTED to exist.

This piece of wood WANTED to become this hand.

When it points at you, it’s like being stared at by 1,000 strangers.

I’m not superstitious, and know it’s just a prop from a movie, but I can’t explain how this basically told me how to make it.

Part of me thinks I should burn it or bury it.

Has anyone else had something like this?

It appears to be advertising a true crime book.

Also this was on a bulletin board that probably gets one or two people walking past it a day. Weird place to take time to put an ad.

Just thought I mite share this.
