I have always wondered why you can’t get a Chicken Royale on Uber Eats, it’s like one of the only items I’ve seen from a fast food place that you can’t get delivered, anyone know why?

for reference im only 16. I started a part time contract with my hjs a few months ago (though I have been here for just a little over 2 years as a casual and briefly part time for something else that wasnt this. please dont give me life advice i wouldnt appreciate it.)

my minimum amount of hours on my contract is 25- cool, okay. I get put on a lot of overnights and ive come to start actually liking them, but for some reason every now and then they'll put me on one or two dayshifts and this has got to be the worst one by far. im sleep deprived as i couldnt get my sleep back on track for a 10am start when ive been waking up at night for my overnights, and my boss has just been shredding into me over everything I do even though none of it is actually wrong. Im sluggish and slow, and Im this close to walking out (I wont, dont got the balls) but ive cried twice just because im so fucking exhausted. they also never roster me with other people on kitchen, so im doing practically everything by myself and it gets to a point where I just want to cry. they roster me on breakfast and im hardly trained on it and then proceed to get annoyed with me when im slow or I fuck something up - i make one or two wraps in the 5am to 6am hour of my overnight and thats it, nowhere near trained enough for an actual busy morning with breakfast. Im sort of being slow on purpose because I really dont have the energy to push myself to move faster and exhaust myself further.

the tricky part is im only part time with them so I could sign out of school - I just want some honest advice, if im being sensitive and if I need to get over it or if its time for a new job.

Context for the fuckwits in the comments, orders two courtside combos with whopper juniors and asked for no ketchup on both burgers since I can't eat their ketchup without giving me the shits and got ketchup on both, making the whole order unedible, also it's not a "free" whopper junior since i'd have to spend more money to get it, also not complaining about the "not so refund refund" I was simply saying how this is the most unprofessional email i've received from a business

edit: for the people thinking i'm "ungrateful", this post is about the unprofessional nature of the email, not about the singular burger "compensation" I got for two fucked up ones

I lodged a complaint with Hungry Jack’s head office after witnessing two of their employees behaving disgracefully at the Bulleen store. They were driving around the car park, swearing at customers and staff over the drive-through intercom while customers were trying to order their food.
It was disappointing to witness, but what happened afterwards was even more frustrating.
The manager contacted me via WhatsApp requesting evidence. I have three videos clearly capturing the employees swearing, driving recklessly, and getting out of the car wearing their Hungry Jack’s uniforms.
I provided the videos as requested and was told the manager would get back to me. However, since supplying the evidence, I have heard nothing further.
I would have expected Hungry Jack’s to take this matter seriously, investigate the behaviour of its employees, and at the very least provide me with an update.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication leaves me questioning how seriously Hungry Jack’s takes complaints like this and how much it values its reputation.
When customers take the time to report unacceptable behaviour and provide clear evidence, the least they deserve is a response.

Man I really wanted the $4 whopper, but when you gamble you always lose 😭

Can someone please explain to me why 95% of the time at this place they make you wait in the waiting bay for your food ? Even if you can literally see it ready at the window 😳

Some of the staff are friendly and still have good customer service but they also have a number of rude lazy ass people working there too.

Is it a lazy thing or is it just a new process at hungry jacks ?

I’ve had a number of bad experiences from the Noarlunga store in the past but they seem to have turned things right around, I’ve had two great experiences recently.

I’m liking the new app, the food is as it should be and there’s some good value deals.

Tastes like I’m eating foam now, gotta put it in the fridge for like 2 hours before it’s even nice to eat, I just went and checked mine that’s been in there for an hour and it’s still soft, like the container is folding when I’m squeezing it. I know it’s icecream but I don’t remember it being like that. And I don’t like that it’s foamy and shit now

Hungry Jacks was my first job as a teenager. We would never let our store get to the same state as they do today. Lately the franchise has really gone down hill with this new generation of kids managing/running the stores. The bins are always full, tables dirty. I wont talk about the toilets. Then theres the food. My last order was a burger with chicken in it and they handed me a burger with beef in it but in the box that suited my order. Every time my family and I go to hungry jacks now its just a dissapointment. Maybe its just the stores we visit I dont know

First off, I've been a harsh critic of HJs in the past. Today, my mind has been changed.

Firstly, my double whopper with cheese was built better than ever before. This made a big difference. It was a busy night, but good fast food takes time.

My only gripe was with oversalted chips.

Bonus point ~ guy calling numbers had a loud and clear voice.

Verdict - Hungry Jacks in Firle is one of the best!

We have a Hungry Jack's going in locally. The hoarding around the site states "APPLY ONLINE" for work, but Hungry Jacks' website doesn't have any jobs for that site, nor any general application function that i could see.

Can anyone advise? thanks!
