After Pikmin 4, they could really take the series anywhere I feel. Carry on from Pikmin 3/Pikmin 3 Deluxe and expand the story with the Koppai and Hocotate or carry on from Pikmin 4.

If they carried on from Pikmin 4, here's how I think it could possibly go like. Pikmin 5 comes out, it's the biggest in the series, we get a couple new pikmin types like maybe two or three if we're lucky, and the game is based around collecting stuff as per usual but to maintain a new Colony on PNF-404. Work on managing food, water, and other materials. Ever since the many castaways who came to PNF-404 due to the treasures, wildlife, fieldtrips, etc, people have been considering on staying. Thus, forming a colony. And who better to run the colony than the one who rescued everyone earlier than the rookie from the Rescue Corps!

I don't have many ideas on what the new pikmin types, enemies, or maps could be but I did have an idea on possibly bringing back the Pikmin Park from Hey! Pikmin so that even while your away at a region, your Pikmin would still bring back loot. Along with the idea to possibly tame some of the wildlife or use the corpses of bulborbs and other creatures to cook food with the head chef Louie preparing the meals.

In any case, Pikmin 5 could really be anything at this point and a colony game is just a random Idea I had right now. The idea is rough, very rough as the time of making this post I haven't really put much thought into this other than the Pikmin park, tameable creatures, and Louie cooking up bugs and stuff.

What do you think Pikmin 5 could be?

I've never played a Pikmin game and I'd like to try it. I have Gamecube, Wii, and Switch and could play on any console, so which version of each game is best?

Which console should I play on, and should I start with Pikmin 1, or go straight to another one?

And if the Switch versions are the best, are they that much better that it's worth buying them over playing the GC or Wii versions for free with a hacked Wii?

Yeah, it's fine. I think more Pikmin 2 representation was needed, the Garden of Hope arrangement sounds off, and the Strawberry Flower songs are definitely missed, but for a franchise that doesn't have much music that would work with Smash, this is about as good as it gets.
