I'm ready to moderate this community 😊

r/udumalaipettai is currently unmoderated & restricted. I want to take it over to build a local community hub for Udumalaipettai—a town in Tamil Nadu, India—for residents and people from the region to share local news, culture, and discussions.

My Experience: I already moderate active communities, so I'm experienced with automod, spam control, and general moderation.

My Plan:

1. Set up all image, description, welcome, flairs & all subreddit customization, sub styling.
2. Set up AutoMod and basic rules to keep it spam-free.
3. Create introductory posts and local discussion threads to build engagement.
4. Add active local moderators as the sub grows.

Requesting this sub as it appears to be unmoderated, and content that is commonly removed from other trucking subs seems to be rampant.

I feel I could help this community grow, while keeping it clean from scammers and rule breaking content.

I could do it. Wife has moyamoya so we have experience with it.

Why I’m requesting r/kingston and how I’ll run it:

I would like to take over this inactive sub to have it as a sister sub to our main subreddit r/kingstonontario to use for more general Kingston Ontario area and things like AMA, and other events in the general wider area of Kingston,Ontario known as the KFLA area.

r/Mossariums is looking for new ownership and I'm looking to run it.

Credentials in short

• Art Director by profession, many years of experience in managing everything from teams to high profile marketing and design projects.
• Terrariums, and specifically miniature terrariums is a passion hobby, has been for years. My niche is specifically tiny ecosystems and the sourcing and researching / using micro flora to work in tandem with micro mosses to create my particular setups.

I have many more credentials that would help in the management of this subreddit and I'm more than happy to cover and talk them through.

For now though, years of research and experimentation in this hobby field, and years of experience in my professional field makes me uniquely equipped to give this subreddit the lift it could greatly benefit from.

I have been a fan of puffins since I was very young and frequently travel to see them. Hopefully I can add some scientific puffin facts to the sub :)
