I'm thinking of transferring from USyd to UNSW as a law student. I think the quality of education is equivalent, but it seems like the general/social/community experience might be better at UNSW? Additionally, as someone 1) working class 2) interested in public interest law- USyd is really not welcoming :/

Hello! My name is Avery and I am mature age student studying computer science. I have a son aged 20 who's also doing computer science in the same university as me (UNSW). We are both flatmates and I have realised that he doesn't get much action. Doing Adv Sci (Hons), if I choose to IPT to B Sci, some of the credits are different and I have to do some SCIF modules and some units from the employability section since the coursework component isn't a one to one replica between those 2 programs.

If I apply to Early Exit in my final term, can I graduate straight away without doing all the other stuff (provided I completed all course work UOC from Adv Sci)?

did comm service but cant get a reference

Hey everyone, I’m in my second term here and I'm struggling. Rent and expenses are killing me. I’ve been applying online and doing walk-ins, but I’m getting ghosted or hit with "apply online" every single time. Do you guys have any tips? I really need a job rn.

UNSWFAC overcharges for our own student and staff and is a pretty shite gym anyway (overcrowded, unsafe and dirty) does not enforce their towel policy and there are usually lines of up to 3 people for some machines. And all this for a price of $21 per week being more expensive than literally every other gym membership (with unswfac having only 1 location). Moreover they charge $200 for the cancellation fee (for the FLEX membership) which is bullshit and an extra $20 for late payments and hiding this underneath their 30 page contract that you cant even read because their website is laggy. The workers are dickheads and dont know what they are doing and would willingly hang up phone calls. All while plastering themselves all over UNSW. I want to start a formal complaint, Please do give me your experiences with them down below

Ok subject breakfast is back in unsw. first day didnt go so well.

i got out of the lightrail at anzac parade and first thing that i witness is a 6'6 chad walk past me with 2 girls around his arms. No biggie, subject breakfast experiecnes that all the time. But one thing stood out, it was that he was wearing a usyd hoodie, I thought to myself. Impossible! usyders dont get girls! i asked one of his goons how hes done that and they explained that unsw girls like bad boys that go usyd. it made me really question my enrolment at the number one uni.

so that was a strange experience, then i crossed the road to the mighty entrance of unsw and immediately was barged into by a girl not looking straight. unfortunately my bag was open and my laptop fell out and cracked, i thought this situation could be salvaged since she was beautiful and we could have those movie like scenes but instead she just blurted out "EWW" and thats when i noticed my bottle of orange juice broke and spilt everywhere making it look like i pissed everywhere.

i had to scurry away from the crowd whilst the girl was saying how i assaulted her to the people around her

i took refuge in law library where i then sat down to drink the remainder of the juice and throw out any evidence, but when i sat down i was confronted by 3 big dudes explaining that i just took their spot. I said ill go away but then they noticed i had some orange juice on my pants which looked liked piss and once again i had to run out of the building

i was then late to my lab and just ended up not going. Hows your first day back gang
