I made a burial blade prop. The materials used are pvc for the handle and petg for the sword, hinge and handle holding components. I designed the latching and hinge mechanism in blender.

Checked all my stats, nothing seems to be in the negative but I can clearly see the down arrow making me think I'm taking some sort of negative for no reason.

Event Ten million hours in this game and l have NEVER heard of this thing

Mind. Blown.

I don’t know what to say.

Ten years and ten million playthroughs later, I just found out this thing existed as a weapon.

EDIT: l love this community. The comments made laugh and cry at the same time. I’m now going to let the game do the same by doing a whistle only run. I’ll report back in a week or so.

Platinum Got the platinum after 11 years!

I first bought this game on release despite never playing a FromSoft game, I knew it wasn’t going to be my favorite game but it was so hyped on release that I felt like I needed to get it, especially being a PlayStation exclusive. I struggled my way through the beginning, I think it took me 3-4 days to beat the cleric beast and finally start leveling. I had absolutely no idea how to properly make a build, I used the hunters axe and pumped tons into stamina because I was annoyed I couldn’t swing more lol. But spinning to win got me far! I made it through Rom and the One Reborn, Killed Amygdala and made it to the Nightmare of Mensis. I finally stalled out when I couldn’t beat Logarius, I tried for weeks and finally gave up because I couldn’t beat him and I couldn’t figure out the Nightmare of Mensis and didn’t understand the relation between insight and frenzy.

Fast forward to now, I decided to download it and try again, and after a very in-depth first playthrough (including DLC and Chalice Dungeons), I just finished new game plus 2 and let Gehrman wake me from the hunters dream for the platinum! What a crazy experience coming back after a decade and overcoming this monkey on my back. I’ll never be great at these games but it feels amazing to complete one fully. Just wanted to share my experience with the community after using a lot of advice from here! The Watchdog of the Old Lords can fuck off and die though, that one pushed me to my limits lol

Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with Amygdala. I love its design, where it appears, the fear it generates, but I hate all of its damn boss fight

Chalice 5pwujscd

• Upvotes

Has anyone every actually got an arcane game from this chalice dungeon? I've killed these 3 chuds like 30 times and I only get tempering, fire, and bolt. I need a glimmer of hope that it's actually possible or I'm just going to give up on this build.

Question So, Does Armor Actually Do Anything?

I decided to lock in and actually play Bloodborne after having about 8000 hours split amongst the trio and Elden Ring and uh, the armor is confusing. There's no real difference in defenses from what I've seen so far and I just got to Martyr Logarius. Am I missing something because I've just been kinda playing fashion souls?

Edit: Thank you to everybody that let me know. Because most of the armor stats are similar, it was confusing, but that little bit when negating as much damage as possible in Mr. Logarius' fight with arcane I think was actually noticeably better but I think for the most part I'm gonna run fashion unless I really need the boost in defenses.

Also, I found a recreateable out of bounds quit in Cainhurst castle if anybody is curious, but I'm not too sure if you can get anywhere with it.

Question Curious about character level upon completion.

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

So I'm on my first play through and was commenting on another thread about Martyr logarious and noticed someone mentioning someone being under-leveled at 63 or something for that fight

I asked curiously because i had beaten logarious at about level 47. He said that just reaching cainhurst at that level was practically unheard of. I mentioned i was fighting ebreitas currently and he said that also was a boss typically beaten at like 70-80+.

I slayed ebreitas last night ,currently sitting at level 49.

Im a bloodborne noob but tbh an experienced souls player by now. Started with elden ring which got me into souls games , than demon souls, than ds1,2, and 3 now on bloodborne. I do the dlcs for every game and defeat every boss that exists. Ive completed each of those games just once ,never do new game plus. Tryna beat every fromsoft game. Next is sekiro.

So this brings me to my question. What level do most people finish bloodborne at?.

Ive found the bloodvile system rather frustrating compared to the other games. Feel like the reason my level is so low is because ive been dumping a large majority of echoes into a bloodvile stash.

Alright, alright. Last episode, we battled 3 lanky speed demons. They proved a worthy adversary, no doubt. Capra demon in a garden eh? 2 dogs? Adorable. Try these guys in the broom closet 🫦. 1st tried em with the parasite which is way too strong, & doesn't count lol. Pretty sure, the parasite even makes you take less damage, if caught during a dodge. I can say, this was the 2nd hardest thing i did in a video game. Pointless, but pretty funny.

So I just beat this cage head man and have been seeing the community discussion - apparently everyone hates him.

Is there a particular lore reasoning that I missed or are we collectively deciding to mess him up 😭

Story Is it suffering or love?

Post image

I never thought that I would ever reach this number of hours, I really didn't think I would be so addicted to this game.

1000 hours in which I died a lot, I suffered a lot, but there was a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from this game. There was no game like this that I delved into so much like bloodborne, so much lore, and every place that felt in the game was so much fun to explore and also delve into it, bloodborne is the best map ever made in my opinion. It's fun to explore every corner and discover things about it :)

never thought in my life that from a game I hate so much, to the best game I've ever played

I invested a lot in the game, and I even made platinum and it's the best platinum I've ever achieved in my life :D

I even had a player I invested level 490 by myself!! the goal was to ranked 544...

Unfortunately, it was deleted by mistake because of a very annoying bug that I couldn't take items from the Storage and it hurts a lot for me :(

But even though I'm developing one other player who will be as strong as him :)

For me, despite all the pain, suffering, and that I will die on the way, For me, it's the best game I've played in my whole life

this game is fucking masterpiece in everyway :D

Help I'm planning clearing every fixed chalice dungeon, meaning I have to get through the Cursed and Defiled Chalice, and I haven't done that one in over 4 and a half years, I need some help

How do I get the most survivability for that dungeon? I remember the Defiled Watchdog and Defiled Amy can one shot you (or have some attacks that one shot you) since youre at half HP

My current build is quality build

BL125

VIT 50

END 38

STR 37

SKL 37

BLT 9

ARC 6

1650 HP

I use a +10 Saw Spear, and with the blood gems it has, I'm sitting at around 481 AR or so

Ive got a +10% HP rune

A +15% stamina rune

And a +4 max blood vials rune

And Eileen's rune for more stamina regen

And is there any armor set/combination that will allow me to tank the most damage possible?

It's perfect, and provides more damage than the flat +77 bolt waning gem from the golden coffins. It only took around 10 kills, too.

My Hunter and Henryk on the Byrgenwyrth balcony, with Younger Madaras still outside where the fog wall will be

So, the documentation that I could find says that NPC summons in Byrgenwyrth can't come out onto the balcony until you've challenged Rom once. Well, after struggling for a few lives with the hostile NPC inside, I was able to walk out onto the balcony and convince Henryk to join me. So far, I haven't gotten Madaras to come out here but I'm gonna keep trying.

EDIT: I was somehow able to trade Henryk for Madaras. I didn't think I'd actually manage to get him out here.

Help Tips for Lady Maria

First of all, this fight is incredible! The music, the atmosphere, and honestly the cut scene jump scared me a bit lol. But for the life of me, I cannot seem to get the parry timing down for her, either I never get a shot off before she's on me, or I get her before her attack but outside the parry window. I've only gotten her past the first phase once on my second attempt, since then she kills me so quickly. Not to mention sometimes she just spams her gun and rushes me while I'm stunned. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as always!
