I have been seeing these grubs walk on the sidewalks a lot lately, is there a reason why?

This little one was really taking her time crossing the sidewalk, so I let her crawl onto my hand and brought her to some nice, safe foliage.

She was very polite and so gorgeous! ♥🥰

He's just a silly little guy

He had the "eyelash" antennae i think all boys have, but if I'm wrong lemme know! Not sure exact species but Scarabidae and related beebles are always welcome to my house!

Hope everyone else is having a good spooky week.

This chap is a Angle Shades moth. Cutiest ever look at him

edit: this was only a joke, the spood is a mature male tarantula, lasiodora parahybana. He lived nearly 9 years with us and I taxidermied him so he can stay forever. The bat was actually found deceased in my front yard in the summer and he was already naturally mummified!

I've made it a goal to protect her and her web. I can't stop checking on her.

Put some honey on the door and wished him well

She only looks scary! And don’t worry, I put her back afterwards (even though her fat spiky ass is eating it all 😭) They’re both native so I’ll let em be

Left is pink leg, right is blondi
