I have been seeing these grubs walk on the sidewalks a lot lately, is there a reason why?

edit: this was only a joke, the spood is a mature male tarantula, lasiodora parahybana. He lived nearly 9 years with us and I taxidermied him so he can stay forever. The bat was actually found deceased in my front yard in the summer and he was already naturally mummified!
