Mod Post Our New Partnered Community, r/ForeverWorlds
Hello to all members here at r/Minecraft_Survival, r/Minecraft2, and our community Discord. We’ve recently been working to build a new community dedicated to an increasingly popular Minecraft play style, the Forever World! A Forever World (also known as a long-term world) is simply a Minecraft survival world that you plan to play on forever. This doesn’t mean you can’t have other worlds in between, but rather that you keep coming back to the same world consistently for years, no matter how long it’s been since you began. Together with u/NerdieBirdieYT, we’ve put together a subreddit to share and discuss *your* forever worlds. Alongside this, we have a Discord to chat, gain advice, share pics and videos, and coordinate world tours!
The subreddit is r/foreverworlds, and it is open to everyone for anything you have to share or discuss about Forever Worlds. We invite you to join, whether you’ve had your survival world for a couple of months, several years, or even well over a decade! We’d love to see progress pics and megabuilds, but also the small things that help you keep coming back to the same world time after time. We want you to show us everything that keeps your world fresh and makes it special to you!
We’d also love it if you joined our Discord, Forever Worlds United, at https://discord.gg/QChEEc2uqR. Here, you can share your experiences with and plans for your Forever Worlds personally with like-minded members of the community. Additionally, this Discord server will have a collection of world downloads to explore, schematics to download, and videos showcasing Forever Worlds. Additionally, we will plan and host live world tours for our community to come together and inspire one another through their worlds.
If you’ve been running a single world for a while and want to know what it takes to keep it going as long as many of us have, we’d love to bring you up to speed! If you already have a Forever World, we are eager for you to join and share it with us. And if you just want to be inspired by what years of work in one world can do, please join us as we build up this community!

Vanilla Survival Hello! Here's my world
Watched a Minecraft video and got inspired to build again! This time I got better at designing and built my whole base in just 64 days, and I even got diamonds! This seed is actually better than my last one since the cave underneath was huge, and I even got a zombie horse and a new cat, anyways here's the screenshots of my world

Help Craft from chest?
I was wondering if there’s a Minecraft mod for Xbox that lets you craft directly from nearby chests? Like a crafting table that pulls items from nearby chests, so you don’t have to keep taking everything out and putting it back every time. (I know there’s an autocrafter.)

Discussion Blub might be a subtle Aerbunny reference from The Aether
My theory: Blub might be a subtle Aerbunny reference from The Aether. Theory might not be entirely accurate, but I still wanted to share it.
The Sift is set to arrive in vanilla Minecraft in 2027, and from what has been shown so far, it seems likely to feature sharp elevation changes and more vertical exploration. Kingbdogz (Brandon Pearce), the creator of the well known Aether mod, now works as a game designer at Mojang, so I wonder whether The Sift could include a few subtle nods to his earlier work.
One thing that stands out to me is the resemblance between Blub, the rabbit-like mob associated with The Sift, and the Aerbunny from The Aether.
The Aerbunny can be picked up and carried on the player’s head, acting like a small parachute and helping to break falls. Since Minecraft still does not have a proper dedicated “glider” item or mechanic, I think a similar slow-falling or fall-damage-reducing ability for Blub could fit The Sift really well especially if the dimension has lots of tall terrain and vertical movement.
I know this theory may have already been brought up somewhere on Reddit or social media, so if it has, I apologize in advance. I just thought the possible kingbdogz connection made it worth discussing.

Discussion Just learned that CREEPERS CAN ACTIVATE SCULK SENSORS
Like, I understand that the hissing and explosion could set off a sensor. But these guys are literally famous for silently *creeping* up on players to blow them up! Surely they should be unable to set of sensors?

Modded How do I reset specific areas in my world? java
I'm not very good at this sort of thing so I'll try and be as clear as possible.
My world was started on an older version. Looking at Chunkbase, there is a dappled forest biome that spawned at let's say x:2000 and y:2000. My spawn is 0,0. But since I've previously explored over there, the new biome doesn't spawn there.
How can I reset that specific area, so the new biome will spawn in my current world?
(As I've googled this, most of the world edit tools are either outdated or cost money. What is the current way most people do this?)

So I thought I'd share it here!
It's easy to forget that Minecraft wasn't the only game Mojang developed.
This was a scrapped trailer for a game named Cobalt, co-developed with oxeye.
It's interesting how it kind of resembles the style of the pixel chibi animations in the mob-votes and some minecraft lives.
