I'm a Unity developer who recently created a separate Reddit account to share progress on my indie game.

One community requires 20 comment karma before I can post. Does comment karma earned in other communities count toward that requirement, or does it need to come from the community I want to post in?

I'm still learning how Reddit's karma system works.

It appears even in new user friendly places.whats it and how to overcome

It somehow reduced last night and i need guidance to understand how this works pls.

The actual thing I can do to stop that I would really need a suggestion , or should I file a complaint to reddit mod. Or I have to wait for my account to reach more 2days before posting on any subreddit

I was trying to interact in posts but every time I try to post a comment, it gets instantly eliminated by the Automoderator, so I wonder what am I doing wrong? It is a bit frustrating tbh.

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to Reddit and still trying to figure things out.

Just wanted to ask, how do you guys usually find interesting discussions to join? I'm still learning how everything works here 😅

I'm new to reddit and every single post I post just ends up getting the red bin icon. I've read the rules on the subreddits I posted but they don't explicitly say how much karma or what account age is needed.

So if i posted a pist and got upvotes, then i delete it, do i still keep the karma from it?

I know if you get down voted you keep the minus points, what about the positive ones?

i genuinely want to ask some doubt and reddit's filter keep removing my post. please help

i asked a guy to DM me. he said, it is not showing up on my profile. is it because im new to reddit? pls help. 😭

Hey, I’m a little confused about how Reddit works sometimes. I’ve been trying to participate in some communities, but it seems like there are certain requirements new accounts need to meet first. Is this just a normal Reddit thing? Still figuring it all out lol.

Also, I recently made a new group of friends and wanted to make a post to share something with them, but Reddit keeps telling me I can’t post in certain communities yet. I’m guessing there’s some kind of account requirement I haven’t met? 😅

Sorry if I sound new to all this 😭 This is actually my first time trying to make posts on Reddit instead of just commenting, so I’m still figuring out how everything works. I didn’t realize there were so many requirements just to post lol.

My account is about 10 days old. Email is verified and r/WhatIsMyCQS says my CQS is Moderate. Apart from my very first comment, nothing I’ve posted (5 or 6 comments in different subs) shows up in a private window. There’s no removal notice and no message from mods. Is this a new-account filter that goes away with time, or is something wrong with my account? Anything I should be doing differently?

I don’t comment much I like to observe mainly

This is my first post here on Reddit. I’d like to know how I can avoid getting banned. Could you perhaps provide some guidelines for me to follow, so that everything goes smoothly for me here on Reddit? Is that possible? Thanks to everyone who shares information!

I was able to receive them for a bit as well as send them but recently I haven’t been able to??

My posts keep getting deleted all the time, even on this subreddit. How come?

I am seeing several posts where it will have a username with the you/weirdName then it will have a regular sounding name in an orange oval. What's up with that? Can somebody explain that to me, please? I tried to take a screenshot, but couldn't get it done.

I’m new to this! I need some help with getting a post up! I guess I need points?

Hey guys, so I have a question about being able to post in certain subreddits.
I keep getting the pop up that I can't post because I don't have enough points and my account is too young.

My question is, how do I know when my account is "old" enough?
Is there a general rule like "Most communities don't accept people until they are 7 days." Or is it all up to the community itself and I have to keep checking.

In addition, it's listed as two bullet points, but I am not sure if it is "or" or "and". Like, do I have to be over a certain number of days AND have a certain amount of karma, or is it usually either/or?

I know you can't speak for every subreddit as they all decide their own rules, but I don't know if there is a general guideline they usually go off of.
