Hey, I’m a little confused about how Reddit works sometimes. I’ve been trying to participate in some communities, but it seems like there are certain requirements new accounts need to meet first. Is this just a normal Reddit thing? Still figuring it all out lol.

Also, I recently made a new group of friends and wanted to make a post to share something with them, but Reddit keeps telling me I can’t post in certain communities yet. I’m guessing there’s some kind of account requirement I haven’t met? 😅

Sorry if I sound new to all this 😭 This is actually my first time trying to make posts on Reddit instead of just commenting, so I’m still figuring out how everything works. I didn’t realize there were so many requirements just to post lol.

Hey guys, so I have a question about being able to post in certain subreddits.
I keep getting the pop up that I can't post because I don't have enough points and my account is too young.

My question is, how do I know when my account is "old" enough?
Is there a general rule like "Most communities don't accept people until they are 7 days." Or is it all up to the community itself and I have to keep checking.

In addition, it's listed as two bullet points, but I am not sure if it is "or" or "and". Like, do I have to be over a certain number of days AND have a certain amount of karma, or is it usually either/or?

I know you can't speak for every subreddit as they all decide their own rules, but I don't know if there is a general guideline they usually go off of.

This is my first post here on Reddit. I’d like to know how I can avoid getting banned. Could you perhaps provide some guidelines for me to follow, so that everything goes smoothly for me here on Reddit? Is that possible? Thanks to everyone who shares information!

The actual thing I can do to stop that I would really need a suggestion , or should I file a complaint to reddit mod. Or I have to wait for my account to reach more 2days before posting on any subreddit

I was trying to interact in posts but every time I try to post a comment, it gets instantly eliminated by the Automoderator, so I wonder what am I doing wrong? It is a bit frustrating tbh.

I'm new to reddit and every single post I post just ends up getting the red bin icon. I've read the rules on the subreddits I posted but they don't explicitly say how much karma or what account age is needed.

So if i posted a pist and got upvotes, then i delete it, do i still keep the karma from it?

I know if you get down voted you keep the minus points, what about the positive ones?
