Note: this discussion applies to the bot actively pushing the barrier, NOT when it is running back to catch up to the barriers progress (that speed caps at 1 person.)
We have recent testing by some clever members of the community: confirming on all push maps, that having more people with the pushbot moves the barrier faster. There has been a mixed response from the community.
*** If there are any data miners or people who can confirm how long this has been a feature for, it would be funny to know exactly who was wrong and who is right.
And on very rare occasion, there are people who say “oh that’s cool I didn’t know that,” they are chill

Hey guys, I've been playing Overwatch for around 200 hours, on and off, and lately I've noticed real improvements in my play. Finally, today I made it out of what felt like hell in Silver.
I started the season at Silver 5; now I'm at Gold 5. I know this will seem small to some of the more experienced players, but the world, it feels so good right now. Just wanted to share.

Why can one team interact with it like it's still a character, but the other can't? Make this make sense to me.

Yes, I know that at least a few people are brought to Stadium this way, and that mode is basically already dead, so it probably needs this challenge in particular, but I think they should just cut their losses and stop withholding XP from people who can’t be bothered to sit through extremely long Stadium queues.

For context, the nano from Sleep here counts as Nano Boost. Whenever you press sleep dart, you get 25% ult charge. You don't even have to hit it either! I got ult like, every minute. Not to mention the 25% attack speed and nano buffs letting you farm ult more, and the 25% overflow from Tactician.

i wish you could gift skins to other people. i have so many widow and lucio skins that i don’t use because i rarely ever play them. Only time ill ever play widow is if i pull her in the mystery heroes game mode. it would be really cool if OW had a feature where you can give skins to your friends because they’d be put to good use instead of collecting dust. and so i can get rid of that horrible octopus lucio skin….

Me (Ram) has both feet inside the point, but as you can see, im not "on point".
I knew some of the capture points were a little poorly made but this feels significantly worse, is it actively getting worse or has this map always been like this?

As you can see, his max health keeps increasing, and if you pick up the Juggernaut card, you get 15% dmg per 100 bonus max life, which results in this.

There is no reason why Ashe should have both a perk that removes her need to skillshot for dynamite and gives the the ability to 2 shot with only 1 headshot meanwhile all of Echo's perks are uh...yeaaaah
And this is super prevalent with character balance, all the characters that already overperform get perks that makes them even better and the ones that underperform get nuthin
Anran gets either a small duration buff to her DoT that does no damage or she gets what is basically required for her ult to ever be of value and Cassidy gets to double his nades AoE and make him even deadlier with virtually no drawback, D.mon just gets 40% less fuel consumed with shield up, which there's already little reason not to have up almost 24/7, and Sym gets 1 more turret that does no damage
At least give the weaker characters stronger perks to balance it out more if you insist on having this dumb smooth brain meta you've been building for years now

When you're at a point in a match where you need to change tactics but you need something the average player doesn't know how to deal with, what do you pick? who's your "knowledge check" character?
In my case I've noticed that the average player has a lot of trouble with a decently played winston, especially if you swap from something like Rammatra or Domina.
Which character do you use and how to disrupt the flow and advancement of the other team because they just don't know how to deal with it?

Ignore Deku's arm he's just been working out okay.

It’s very useful for your squishies that can get one shot. It’s just something I’ve been noticing for a while not being done. If you do it I’ll always appreciate you. Those that already do it, thank you so much.

When the silhouette was first changed, he held one of his arms up but we couldn't know if he was holding something because it was blocked by domina. Still, it kind of looked like the bottom of a pistol grip bellow his hand. We know it's not the umbrella because he was clearly holding it in the other hand (and we would've clearly seen more of it). I'd also find it weird if he was holding his arm up without holding anything just to aura farming.
Now that the final art is revealed for him, it's now even harder to tell since his hand is completely covered by shion's gun and coat. However, the arm seems to be slightly pointed outward to where it would look kind of odd if he wasn't holding something.
We'll find out when he's first shown but I just wanted to discuss it. Personally, I hope he still has a pistol because it would be pretty cool and funny for him to use both a glock and an umbrella.

I think first I saw this was maybe season two this year. Thought it was gonna be something like happened in season one at the start of the year - some bundles with a mix of OW"1" and OW"2" skins or something, but I am yet to see any of it in the "just for you". It's like this was supposed to be a thing, but then no one cared enough.

This isn't mercy she isn't in this team (this is from the "until the end" comic) and she is in another twam as well as her armour not matching
r/Overwatch • u/Ok-Garlic-4658 • 22h ago
You see your team getting shredded with one tank/support, yet you stay on dps knowing not enough damage can be tanked or healed. All 3/4 of you sit there , waiting for each other to switch. Why?
You know you can still do damage as a tank and support, whilst helping the team more. Then why do you not switch 😭

For me it has to be Genji's carbon fiber, as I think this is among the best skins for the character. I just wish his effects could be changed
