Buying help Does anyone make An 11-13" premium windows ARM laptop?
Writing this from my Lenovo Yoga slim 7 that I'm considering returning, it's just not as compact feeling as I was hoping it would be.
The M5 Macbook Air is a really ideal choice I think, but I've never used mac OS and am pretty happy with windows in general. Are there truly no actual compact competitors to Mac in this space? The closest would be Dell with the XPS 13, but they seem to have done away with their snapdragon offering and I'd like to go ARM/Fanless here.
A surface would be a great solution, but the keyboards and kickstand setup is garbage and doesn't work well for my common uses (lots of lap based work, planes, conferences, etc). I'm aware there's an aftermarket provider of Ipad pro keyboard style keyboards for the surface line but those are ~2.5lbs making a total package close to 5lbs lol.
I don't need a processing powerhouse - I'm in finance so most of my work is web based (CRMs, etc). I use Excel a fair amount, but am not a power user, and I do some photo editing of hobby photography but I'd imagine any modern processor can handle this.
Build quality is more important to me than anything, hence looking for more premium options. I can't stand a plasticy feeling computer, and I travel often so bags get bumped/knocked a lot.
Any suggestions? Price range is flexible, 1,200-2k give or take, if there's something nice outside of that don't hesitate to throw it out there.
