HERE YOU CAN GET RID OF ALL YOUR ANGER AND HATE.

GETTING NOTHING BUT DUPLICATES WHEN ALL YOU WANT IS THAT SWEET NEW TORBJÖRN SKIN? GETTING HEADSHOT BY ACROSS THE MAP BY HANZO? TOO MUCH JUSTICE THAT RAINS FROM ABOVE? THIS IS THE RIGHT THREAD!
PLEASE STILL BE CIVIL, AT LEAST A LITTLE!

Don't get me wrong, I love D.mon but she's basically a mash-up of D.va and Reinhardt. With Mastermind just look a his mech. There was the potential for us to get a really cool and unique hero

For me it's Venture. Like holy fuck is playing as them kinda like putting a cactus up my ass. I'm either popping off or I'm the backline tickle monster, especially since their gun only does about... 80 dmg per shot. Which it takes 3 hits to kill a squishy, or 4 for an average hp
And if not a buff, then a slight rework/new ability

Just because there are other heroes doesn't mean u should play them, Reaper may not be the best rn but he is objectively the greatest character in all of Overwatch. Hot take but idc Reaper is leagues better than anyone imaginable in this game. I have been playing him since 2017 and I will never consider anybody else. He is the most attractive, the most evil, the most smexy, the most appetizing, the most deathly, the most greatly, the most perfect character ever and I am genuinely curious as to why people will choose a weeb, or a dva, or a brit, or a sigma, or a junker, or an omnic, or a symm, or a fire, or a fox, or a white savior (mercy), or a cowboy, or a sniper, or a cat, or a monkey, or a hamster, or the rest of the roster that can all go die die die?
Whoever you pick a good Reaper 1v1s them easily. The only thing I could guess as to why more ppl don't play Reaper is that his boots are loud af. Even crouching you can hear him in a crowd. But argubly that is a skill diff, you should anticipate being shot at and killed bc Reaper is that guy. Nobody wants him to get close to them bc he will gobble ur soul. The only other pick I would choose that I enjoy seeing is Soldier 76 bc they have a bromance and its cute that Reaper is his yandere and that he can find love after separating from his wife.
I rest my case. They should remove all other characters and make Reaper the only character.

You all responded really well to the first set of 'Things Overwatch Doesn't Teach You' and had lots of great suggestions in the comments. What other mechanics or unwritten rules have I missed?

Was playing earlier today and ran into this. Getting a good screenshot was actually a pain because of how often people were sliding into the room to destroy me. Theres also a StarCraft one next to it, have you guys found any others on this game?

I think the game desperately needs a recap of where every one is and what they're doing in the current story.
They did this a few years ago with "The story so far" video, but we need a newer and more comprehensive one.
They also did a flavor of this near the start of OW2 launch with the PVE missions. Seeing a ton of people at Gibraltar and finally talking to each other in videos was so exciting.
The game just has too many heroes to keep up with if you're trying to see the "big picture".
The easy ones are Talon and Vendetta's current arc along with the supporting heroes involved like Shion/meka squad/etc, which makes sense since that's the focus of the current year.
But what about other people?
What in the world is Jack doing? Still "chasing ghosts" after 10 years? Still hasn't solved or gotten any leads as to the conspiracy insider that helped bring overwatch down from inside all that long time ago?
What's Zarya doing?
How about Illari? She seems nonexistent lore-wise.
I know team 4 only has so much time in the day and the more important stuff always takes priority, it's just something to consider.
I just want a big overview that shows each hero's faction, what they're currently doing in the storyline, if anything, that kinda thing, doesn't necessarily have to be a cinematic or comic even, could just be an infographic chart or breakdown.
This is only going to get worse as time goes on and a new big set of heroes comes in 2027, and the lore keeps splintering into comics and it's hard to keep track of it all sometimes, that's all I'm saying (I definitely love the comics and story times, don't get me wrong!)
(Also perhaps they could close some really really old lore chapters such as Pharah and Ana arguing for the last 10 years for her to come out of hiding and to stop pretending she's dead, as a Pharah player I hear it pretty much every pre-match haha.)
Thoughts?

I have never had these thoughts looking at my ally wrecking ball tank and I am wondering if it is just me. 90% of my wrecking ball tanks usually feed the entire game or feed/do nothing until they switch. 10% are fine but it still isn't fun. You can try telling me I just don't know how to play with a wrecking ball and I have no answer to you because that isn't something I can prove in this post.

Now, with these fan-made collabs skins I make, I usually balance the hero role distribution equally, but I genuinely could not find a satisfying match to the support heroes this time -without over-bloating this wished skin bundle, that is. So I let that behind and just had fun connecting these characters...
I still kept this to be more ''general public''/''broader audience'''-friendly, though - using only most recognizable Halo designs to be represented by this imaginary Overwatch x Halo collab ;)

The default lobby is grey and boring and looks very out of place when everything's supposed to be spooky. Even the PLAY button has bats flying out of it

Now that we know we’re inevitably getting at least one Ultra skin per season, what changes do you think would make them better received by the community?

Mizuki - Kung Lao
Cassidy - Erron Black
Hanzo - Sub-Zero
Genji - Scorpion
Doomfist - Jax Briggs
Kiriko - Jade
Reaper - Noob Saibot
Anran - Kitana
Roadhog - Bo Rai Cho
Anymore you can think of ? Im having trouble imagining what they would do for Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and more.

These are my predictions for who’ll be who in the edgerunners collab.
I’ve seen some people saying they want Emre as David, and while I can see why, I’m pretty sure they’re gonna give David off to Hazard.
The announcement trailer for the collab intentionally uses buff, teched-up David instead of his skinnier form. Leading me to believe it’s to encompass Hazard’s body. Also, they both have that abs out, with an open jacket thing going on.
I was honestly torn between having Lucy go to Shion or Sombra, but given that Lucy’s a netrunner and uses these yellow whip thingies, I think those technical aspects will transition to Sombra’s invisibility and healing lines respectively. both also have side oriented hairstyles.
I truly believe D fits into Emre perfectly. Same build, and both “possessed” by a weird techy entity.
This idea is just too cool to me. Talia is more mech than meat, ridiculing those who don’t do the same. Shion is, well, Shion.
Also Shions, “See what I’ve become!” I feel fits Talia too well.
I’m torn between D.va and Juno. I hope she goes to D.va though, given she’s more tech involved.
Also a really cool idea. They’re both badass killing machines.
Do y’all agree? If not, lmk who you think would be who.

Hey guys,
Just sitting here playing a few matches and realized I never properly shouted out the devs for Vendetta. Now that she's been out for a while and we've all had time to actually learn her kit, I'm still just so hyped.
As an Italian, seeing someone from my country added to the roster still feels surreal. Honestly, her voice lines, the accent, the design—Blizzard totally nailed it without making it too cheesy. It just brings a huge smile to my face every time I hear her speak Italian in-game.

Has anyone else gotten this as well? The Doomfist also saw it on his end too.

For me... straight up. Trying to follow a tier list. Every character in this game is viable for the VAST majority of players (90%). So when people get mad that someone chooses Moira who is not top tier or tries to pick a counter that they have no idea how to play because they think it will be helpful (it's not, play what you're good at).
So what's your "THIS ADVICE IS NOT MEANT FOR YOU!"
