Player Discussion I hope we can all appreciate QB1 a little bit more now
Tanner McKee ain't it. I know I've seen a ton of slander anytime Jalen isn't perfect but Tanner is awful. He's one of the most inaccurate passers I've seen and doesn't have that deep ball threat. This man is the franchise for the next 10 years and reverting should be built around him. Hopefully we don't see any more, "giVe TaNeR a sHoT!!1" when we have a 3 and out. Tanner's has had 1 good preseason and this sub acts like he's a replacement for a superbowl MVP.
Get well soon QB1!

You know things are bad when Nick Foles, who is typically constructively critical but optimistic, is now talking like this.

Meme I'm just here to support as a fan
We're 2-5, injured offense playing with backups, QB 1 done for the season, defense has more field time than the offense, etc. Seasons like this happened to KC, Rams, 49ers, and Bengals after their SB appearances this decade. Looks like the Eagles were due for one like this.
For the last 10 games, my expectations are "Whatever happens happens"
But, in the end, it's always Go Birds!

Say what you want about whether Saquon should have played. But in a game where our season was at a major crossroads, he suited up and tried to power through with sheer will power. The same can’t be said for our defense minus Quinyon. Saquon showed what our defense is desperately lacking. Will power.

Fangio’s refusal to adjust needs to seriously be discussed. We are last in the entire league in quick pressure rates. And tonight was even worse. You can’t be reliant on just your front 4 generating pressure if they flat out can’t do it. Fangio is refusing to accept that his front 4 can’t do it.

Opinion Just pack it up.
Put Saquon on IR, he doesn't look right & it's detrimental to keep trying to get him out there at this point. Slide Jihaad to edge & give him a real look there & have Trot & Baun play linebacker the rest of the season. Maybe look to trade Riq if the offer is good enough. Just try to get Makai & Eli some real run & development the rest of the way. Whether that means Tanner or Joe starting, & I like Tanner, but last night was not giving me a lot of confidence in him moving forward. Fire Sirianni at the end of the season, Vic can retire & we just start fresh man.

Video Saquon Barkley said he tweaked his hamstring on his first run of the game and suffered a back injury afterwards as a result. “That’s how the body works. Sometimes something is a little banged up and you overcompensate a little bit.”
This team has done a remarkable job of rushing guys back too early only to reaggravate their injuries and/or make it worse lol

Player Discussion Where has Jordan Davis been this year?
Got his bag and I’ve forgotten he’s on the field. Half a sack in six and a half games. No big plays. A few tackles a game. He’s playing like a sandwich.

Touch night, I get it🦅

We are getting out-gained at a historically bad rate. This is flat out not acceptable.

Draft Discussion The Eagles currently hold the 6th pick in the NFL Draft
With our division being so dog shit we have a very high chance to win the SOS tiebreaker over nearly every team that would tie us except houston currently.
At this point I think howie should sell players that wont be getting extended like Woolen and Ojomo at the deadline and load the war chest. We have alot of good , young, core pieces.
1 good offseason with a blue chip elite player drafted and we are back in contention with a healthy Hurts.
2 good drafts with multiple day 1 and 2 picks and we are possibly the best roster in football again in 2028 by a wide margin.
We got hit with a bad injury year , but we are not a terrible roster by any means. Even with bad coaching this team would've probably won 10 games if we had our normal health.
Still alot to look forward to going forward, we are not the Dolphins or Titans but we may be able to get that kind of player as if we are this April 🤷♂️

Player Discussion On the plus side, Landon looked solid in his return. Maybe our OL isn’t up for that big of a rebuild.

Analysis [Kubena] Eagles’ worst defensive outing of Vic Fangio era creates unexpected problems
PHILADELPHIA — The worst defensive game of the Vic Fangio era added insult to the ever-growing list of injuries amid a 2026 season in which the Philadelphia Eagles keep finding new levels of rock bottom.
Dependable defensive play has been the backbone of this team since it hired Fangio as its defensive coordinator in 2024. That snapped in a 38-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, just when the Eagles’ fledgling offensive system was finally finding a foothold.
The brutal loss to a bitter NFC East rival marked the most points the Eagles have allowed with Fangio in their booth. Cowboys running back Javonte Williams delivered the final touchdown, a 2-yard run that came after the Eagles turned the ball over on their own 16 in a last-ditch effort to spark a comeback. Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards at 6.2 yards per carry — an indictment of an Eagles defensive front that was designed to be the strength of this team.
The Eagles signed defensive tackle Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78 million extension in March. They traded two third-round picks for edge rusher Jonathan Greenard in April and signed him to a four-year, $98 million extension. In July, they made Jalen Carter the NFL’s highest-paid interior lineman in history. That trio contributed to a miserable night in which the Eagles recorded no sacks, no quarterback hits, no tackles for loss.
